I have an 09 in Voodoo blue with the off road package. I got it when it was only 3 years old and it has absolutely been the best vehicle I've ever owned. All I've ever done is basic maintenance right on schedule, brakes, tires, fluids and filters, she's always been good. I was a former mechanic before I got into my current career and I've owned dozens upon dozens of vehicles in my lifetime but I've literally never been as impressed as I am with my FJ, it's been an absolute dream 😍😄👍
I've never owed one but I have watched them perform in the Colorado Rocky Mountains and also in the Arizona Desert. They can do anything that any other high performing off road vehicle can do. So I think that they are a great vehicle. I watched a FJ crawling up a 45 degree angle with the top rack fully loaded free running "not on a trail" very slowly about 40 yards up from a shelf road I was on and I was amazed. I'd partner up with an FJ on any trail.
I wanted the Titanium silver. I was able to find a nice well kept and equipped 2007. Later build that I can use rear diff lock with ATrac. I am blessed to have it. I just really like the look of Silver with black wheels and dark tinted windows. Just looks clean. Also with all the silver accent pieces on the FJ the titanium or silver work. 🤙
@@yzlrelax1 Correct. The FJ does have its Quirks, but I've Never had a problem with Any of them. Learned to Love the vehicle as it is and that's the Trick. If someone doesn't want those Funky rear doors or Anything else about the design, then get the 4-Runner. It IS, what it IS, and it will Kick the Ass of Any Rubicon. (I bet that statement will set some people off) Ha Ha.
Army Green is the best Trail Team color from 2011... IMO. My opinion maybe a little bias since I’ve owned a army green 2012 since new. Originally wanted TT army green, but happy with my white roof 2012.
Right on Army Green was my all time favorite until I saw the ultimate edition 😍. Thank you for sharing, that’s awesome you owned one for 8 years now👏🏻. Stay tuned as I’ll be posting more FJ Cruiser stuff. Cheers!
Great video My first fj was a black 2007. Loved it traded at 80 grand for my 2014 which now has 166000 miles take better care of my truck then myself ha.. Hopefully buying a new 4 runner soon. And useing this beast for fishing. Thanks kennebecfly Vassalboro maine
Hey FJ Folks , I got my in 2010 ,I still own it 112,00 miles on it ,I drive it every day ,My wife wants me to trade it but that won't happen ,wish Toyota would build more I buy a new one! Roy
I just picked one up as a winter car, but now I'll be plowing some cash into it and having an adventure. It's as much fun to drive as my as my AMG....who'd have thought! Question: what's the highest mileage one you've come across? Mine is a 2007 with a CPO warranty (!!) and only 150,000 KM's which is roughly 90,000 miles.
Yeah it’s mainly for looks if you ask me. Rated at 165lbs, which I wouldn’t even attempt. For those that actually use it, aftermarket is the answer : ARB , Gobi and BAJA make good ones.Just to name a few. Thank you for watching. Cheers!
Just so you know. All trailteams have fully black bumpers. It was not black because it was a base model but because it's a feature of trail teams. If you hose inside down there are holes under the seat that reach the floor board and can cause rust. More like it can take semi moisture. The color is some kind of tan, dessert something but not cream. If you brush up on things like that, real FJ lovers and car guys with respect more or what you're saying. You can't keep sayint thing or stuff but use the name of what you're talking about.
Appreciate the tips, thank you for watching the video. In case you haven’t spotted yet I wasn’t blessed with being born in the USA , therefore English isn’t my first language but hey I’m trying my best. Thank you for your 2 cents. 👍🏻

That’s is so cool to hear, they are a dream and very reliable. Thank you for watching. I appreciate your support. 👍🏻
I bought my 2010 Army Green with aftermarket steel bumpers and 8,000 lb winch in 2015. I love mine.
They are awesome rides.
I've had my 07 for 10 years and still love it
That’s awesome, solid vehicles.
I own this exact car with 29,000 miles on it. I love it. Original owner.
That’s freaking awesome, dam only 29k. 👍🏻
Got mine 7 years ago w 12k and we hit 160000 an hour ago

Awesome stuff, I do agree with you they’re off-road capabilities are phenomenal. Thank you for watching
Sandstorm by far or the army green ??
Both super cool choices. 🤙🏻

That’s freaking awesome, I’m jealous for sure.
Silver does look nice 👍🏻
A full traditional 4 door with the huge B pillar gone would be an awesome comeback for the FJ.
Agreed, where do I sign? 😎
that's basically a 4runner.

I agree with you FJ over that Jeep thing all day.
@@VikingsGarage Thank You🥇👊
Red is my favorite by far. I own a black and white one
Very cool, 2 is always better then 1 right.
I Love the military look.
Absolutely!! 💪🏻
My favorite is easy: 2012 Radiant Red. Would do no-no's for one babied with low miles. I love my black 2007.
I’ve seen very few Red’s. 👍🏻
@@VikingsGarage My favorite part is the Radiant Red Interior. The black and red together is just perfect IMO.
I can’t say I’ve ever seen one. Pretty cool. Stay tuned as I will be posting more FJ content in the future. Cheers!

Actually now that I think of it, there’s something big in Army green making it’s way to the channel very soon. 😉
2013 Cement is my favorite
That is a pretty rare color, I’ve only seen one in the flesh. 👍🏻

Thank you for sharing your story , I’m right there with you. I would buy a new one as well.
I got a 2013 TT & it's White.
That’s awesome. White looks pretty unique too.
2013 Trail Teams Edition was Cement Grey, not white. If yours has TT badges, it means someone purchased them and stuck them on. Sorry mate!
When it is going to be launched in India?
🤷🏼♂️ Not sure.
looks like a 1.5.inch spacer lift.. i have a 2.5 on mine
They are bringing it back in 2022!!
Shut up. No way. Where did you see that?
That would be freaking awesome.
@@VikingsGarage Well at the plant I work at we are making body panels for them.
Nice leather seats it's the natural one right?
It doesn’t come with leather seats, but I’m sure you can install that. Cheers!👍🏻
just got 2021 model last week
Very cool.
Where do you live and what color?
@@VikingsGarage Dubai. got beige color GXR trim with touch screen NAV apple car play and a built in air compressor from the factory. pretty sweet
That is badass. Enjoy!
@@binadi can you post some pictures?
Nice Color
Obrigado
Are those rock sliders or just running boards?
I believe they are rock sliders. 👍🏻
Trail teams are actually the most expensive model you can get and it’s blacked out from the factory no silver paints
Yeah I realized it, the moment I said it. I’m an idiot. I noticed how it’s actually pretty well Equipped.🤷🏼♂️
They are great cars.
@@VikingsGarage I actually watched your previous video about the fj before buying one, and got me a 2010 trail teams 2 months ago 🤘🏼
That’s awesome, you lucky bastard. Good luck with it and enjoy. Stay tuned for more FJ content, I’m always working on these beauties. Cheers!
Excelente fj cruiser saludos desde México 🇲🇽👍😜
Gracias, amigo. 👍🏻
Should I buy my friends 2007 2wd fj with 130k for $11k?
It all depends if you need the 4wd and it’s condition. I would not buy a 2wd FJ. 🤷🏼♂️
They Still make the FJ and they are available in the Philippines, Chile, Australia and the UAE. Now Go Get One---!!! 🤗
I wish!
Love the looks of the FJ. Any idea what size the tires are? Wanting the same look if possible.
👍🏻 Honestly I’m really not sure on this one.🤷🏼♂️

@@VikingsGarage Did you pick one up ;)
No not yet, I own a 2015 4Runner
There are quite a few 300K to 400K FJs on numerous Facebook FJ pages and at least one 600K that I know of. Mines at 125K.
I believe it, I worked on a few myself with over 200k. 👍🏻 it is a solid and reliable motor.
I like my silver paint job on my Fj
👍🏻
Subbed!
I appreciate you! 🙏
Got my 2014 2 days ago. Dealer sold all 3 in 1 week. Hard to get. Thanks bro
Very hard. Collectibles!
Nice showing
Thank you Sir, I appreciate the support! 🙏🏻
What’s your nationality? The mild accent sounds familiar but I can’t place it.
Most people can’t lol, I’m Portuguese. Cheers!
I own one of these that Is not the base model every thing is blacked out on a trails edition and those are the wheels that comes on a tt
Gotcha you 👍🏻
I got squeaky clutch and replaced 2 front brakes and 1 rear
Those front brakes just seem to wear so fast. 👍🏻
@@VikingsGarage I kind of gouged some deep grooves into the right rotor...
I believe it, even with the front brakes sucking. They are solid rigs.
Roof rack looks good
Usefulness not really
