Me neither. Sadly I likely won’t get to him any time soon. I’ve got Lost With You to do next and then there are so many birds still to do, it will be hard to choose which to do first
The shipping delays are so frustrating!! I know there’s nothing they can do but when you’re as excited as I am to get a delivery it makes the wait hard “the wait is the hardest part” 😉
Cute bird, a little dark on the background. As of me writing this, it is low in stock. My favorite ones are Gladis and Purnell. Thanks for showing. I like the new DAC boxes, I never liked how the tool kit always smashed the canvas and left ripples that had to be flattened out. I don’t like that there isn’t a coverminder or washi tape, oh well. When I first started diamond painting I experimented with different things to use for picking up diamonds. I used a pick me up pen, which look similar to the new pen in the kit. I don’t like putty because after a while it starts getting stringy and it leaves a residue on the diamonds that I would have to pick off with my tweezers. I’ve used micro glue dots for a while now and it’s my favorite. I don’t have any problems with AB’s pulling it out of my pen because of the great stick that it has. You just have to dirty it up a little when first using. Happy diamond painting. 😺
I use glue dots in my single placer too and definitely prefer that. I do like using putty in my multi placer though but I think you have to find the right putty for you and your climate. I really think it makes a difference. I tried another putty from Canada and it was stringy and stayed on the drills etc., but the putty I use now from Randa’s is only one state away and works great! Doesn’t leave anything behind on the drills or anything and I prefer it to wax or even DACs new putty. Thanks again for watching! Always love your comments
Hi Gretchen. What’s the most amount of drills have you worked on? I’m slowly starting to get used to multi-placers. Starting with 3 at a time. Someday I’ll be doing large art so I really need to learn. It’s not easy to do multi-placers, at least for me. That is a very pretty piece. Nigel is too cute! I watch the W.I.Ps and chat to see how everybody works with multi-placers
Largest amount of drills on a canvas or multi placing? I just finished Magic Roses and it had about 136,000 drills, so that’s my biggest canvas, and I’m currently working on learning how to multinplace with a 12 placer. But I’m most comfortable with the 6 and 8 that I have. Just trying to practice and gradually work my way up
I learned to multi place watching TH-cam videos and practicing. Practicing is the most important. I still don’t think I’m “great” but I’m definitely getting better and more comfortable and accurate as time goes on
@@twingirl56 not really. Just start with a small multi placer, practice, and work your way up. I may make a video, but I mostly learned from other creators

And now there are 4 more so I’ll have plenty for a while still. 🤣 So glad you go Nigel too. It makes me sad he is the only bird that didn’t sell out. I love him!!
I don’t understand why Nigel didn’t sell out like the other birds either. Maybe it’s because of the darker colours and that he’s a bit more strait-laced compared to the other “mad” birds. But I like that about him, he’s different. #bethebird
Yea… I’m not too thrilled about all the black, but I’m a Lorenz bird collector and I do really like the color contrast and circular motion to the image

Exactly!!! I’m not looking forward to all those dark colors but I love Nigel himself and am excited ti complete it. #bethebird is right!!!
I liked Nigel but he is really big and the color pallet was a bit dark for me when it comes to the birds.
