Your confusion towards their age is just the beginning to everything confusing going in in this fandom lmao. In my amateur opinion, Solar has a powerful chest voice suitable for high, belty singing. Wheein can probably reach those high notes more easily and comfortably with greater stability but her voice is more “sharp” and piercing in comparison, so just like in this song, she uses a lot of head voice instead and it compliments the song very well. Hwasa has an airy, sultry seductive kind of voice suitable for jazz, r&b kinda music, which usually captivates people’s ears immediately hence why she almost always starts singing first. Moonbyul has a contralto vocals which has greater impact on lower notes and lately they’ve really been using that to allow her to sing more and holy shit does her deep voice provide a strong anchor to the group when they harmonize together. Do check out their random harmonisations on your own time if you have the chance. I promise you wont be disappointed.
