Since its debut a mth or so ago, the no of times the trailer with Xiang Yun's image appeared the lowest (2 times per day) and disappeared throughout night from 6pm to 11pm. It popped up again after 11pm or midnight 12am. Trust me. That was why I so pissed off What would happen if Xiang Yun's not pretty images often seen on TV many times daily? Mediacorp was afraid her popularity might be affected. Crazy. Even a repeated version of 健康那件事S8 episode 30 aired today 26.11.2021, had her scene deleted from the original version. Cause again ugly lor. But not so for other actresses🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
@@我爱大自然 I am not doubting of her character and acting skills. What I was pissed off was Mediacorp shldnt abuse authority to keep flaunting only her pretty faces and avoiding showing her uglier ones. Who would know she did appear in those many dramas aired in 2021 and variety programmes if trailers dare not show I believed not only she was a good actress but others were. As for humble, sorry I didn't think so. In magazines years ago I saw how she boasted of a taxi uncle quickly turned up to pick up knowing she was ah jie. She also commented her crying scene in Little Nonya made everyone cried on set ie why she won the role of supporting actress. I didnt find her Nonya performance touching as so used to her crying scenes (no break through). I was the type easily moved to tears if scenes touching. Once she got a award again (she had it many times) for a supporting role. Most expected another actress Chen Hui Hui (her acting really good though I wasnt her fan at all...moved to tears by a role she enacted when younger...a simple story showing only her and a old actor) to get the award. Ah jie went up stage and said "Chen Hui Hui mentioned whenever I was in the nominations, no chance for her to get award". Camera showed Hui Hui's face and she so embarrassed. To me, not necessary for Xiang Yun to mention it at all😐 She ❤to show off many praises of her from others in her Facebook...my friends did showed to me. If she didnt post them, nobody would know. I believed she wasnt humble at all but definitely friendly, no airs and not 😡proud like some local stars.

(On market measures when first imposed by govt) Was ah jie wasnt going for beauty contest😏? Once she made a Teochew video with Chen Shu Cheng. She mentioned Chen took a great effort to teach her🤦♀️. Oh my gosh...that particular video on covid was short lived as expected when I first saw it on TV only once after midnight 2am. I on TV full day and noted another in a Teochew opera slot whilereas other versions on covid by other ugly veteran actresses hit our TV screen a few times per day. Xiang Yun looked 👎as no makeup (she knew the video wouldnt be aired often perhaps) in that video so whatever she and Chen wanted to relay to viewers, wasnt successful. It disappeared after a day or two🤦♀️. But if she was pretty in a particular video, no matter what time u on TV, sure bound to see it
