    Hello.Is there a possibility that You make video how to set parameters for 4-20mA analog input?I can't manage to set vfd to be controled by current input.

    How did you do the speed up and down with the pushswitch, if you could tell me how many parameters you have set, it would be helpful.

    can you tell me how to Run the inverter with pulse input(DDRVI command from PLC to inverter) to the Jog terminal for encoder connected motor

      Hi There. I have never used these kind of controls on this drive, so sorry i wont be much help to you on this one. Your best bet is to contact Mitsubishi itself and they should be ale to help you out.

      Hi There. Thank you. regarding your question, i have no plans to make more videos on D700 family drives, but i do have plans for new E800 family.

      Unfortunately, as far as I know it’s a no, it has to be accepted with set button

      @@nikunjbakrania2556 You can find that information in the video from 3:40 video time, were you need to change parameter 59 to 1. Please check out that parameter in manual for more details and if have laptop would strongly advise to downloads FR Configurator 2 from Mitsubishi, were you can read manuals much more clearly with fine details, plus there is wiring diagram as well. Check out my canal for how to get FR configurator 2. Hope that helps.

    my FR-D won't go into external mode, can you please explain how I can fix this issue?

      Was it doing it before? It is usually setting in parameter 79 that can be configured to stop you doing that. Check out manual for option

      @@IGSElectronics i set parameter 79 to 4 and now it does finally go to External mode, but now it wont run when i press run, it does however run in PU mode, but not in EXT, what could be the issue of this?

      For a little bit of context, I'm using 7 buttons (Estop, an On button, Stop button, left, right, frequency up, frequency down) . These buttons are connected to a Logo! PLC and the outputs of the logo! are connected to my Fr-D. All the connections should be good, but for some reason it still won't run and nothing happens when i press these buttons. Thank you in advance for helping me, my end-project grades will be grateful :)

    can it work so that the e stop will use DC braking, if it has coast to a stop set for the normal stop button ?

      @@IGSElectronics so when I use momentary on/off its coast to a stop, when pressing e stop it also coast to a stop with current settings , could it work so when e stop is active it with electronic brake the motor?

      @@stocksy27 Pardon if i understood your question incorrectly, when e stop is pushed you want to activate the brake? If that is the case, yes that can be set up couple of ways. Do you have brake installed?

      @@IGSElectronics yes that's what I would like to happen, I have no external brake fitted was hoping to use the internal dc braking if possible, its on a lathe motor

      @@stocksy27 For that to work, you will need braking resistor of suitable size for your motor. Drive itself will not be bale to do it.

    Hi! I have PLC and from plc should give freq value to Mitsubishi drive( terminal 2 and 5) but it does not working! Is this Current signal? Which parametar should I change? Thanks

      Hi there, frequency from plc to the drive can only be give in from analog card, in form of volts and mili amps. Do you have analog card?

      Yes,i have analog card in PLC, and wires are in terminals 2 and 5…it starts on external run signal (PC and Stf) but when I change frequency on HMI( PLC panel), does not change frequency on drive…parametar 79=0……thank you for help

      We also had old Mitsubishi drive,and We changed him with this one,but now I can’t change freq on drive when I change freq on hmi panel..on old one it was going great!

      @@josipsabljak1630 is analog card outputting signal? Can measure and rule out that card is working as it should do. What signal are you working with? Volts or amps

      I think so,in old one is super working..i think terminlas 2 and 5 are voltage inputs😞 We have more similar stations,and i have looked on another stations,ALL parametar are same but on this one is not working…which parametar is for analog input? Should I more parametars change? Thanks

      @@brunomelodasilva8647 As far as i remember no, only analog inputs should be used for potentiometer.
