It's very simple, dock the pizza dough and par bake it for about 3-4 minutes, take it out and brush the dough with olive oil, sauce it, top it and bake until done, nice and crisp with ZERO FLOP. Most pizza places have no clue.
just depends how you like it. Depends the oven. Depends the recipe. It’s not ‘very simple’

I used to have to eat in the car if I went to get lunch, the looks you get while devouring a slice at a red light are magical.

Agreed! No lazy 7.2, and frankly I even appreciate the “rookie” score of the .5 on this because it’s actually like this pizza has its own reputation, not just like better than an 8.

he barely took 3 small bites in 12 seconds, avg score for a 2 min video is below 5.0
Without actually tasting it I have to go by his body language. I've watched him for several years now on pizza reviews. This review seems phony. He didn't show the under carriage in fact looks like was hiding it. It just didn't look like a pizza he'd put in the 8's. Maybe it was sprinkled with coke. Just my opinion.
I have over 150 reviews on the one bite app and I'm usually tougher than Dave, and I gave Picco an 8.6

Yo Dave! I like Pizzeria Rustico in Boston if you have the chance. Felt more like a local spot but cool owners/workers and actually really good!

I always try to guess the score based on his first bite and reaction and I'm always like .2 off! I'm gonna get it one of these days

Try Ducali Pizzeria in Boston - Solid 8.6 or 8.7 when I went. (Needs a rescore!)
Maybe a little generous given they squeezed me and a buddy into their café side because we caught them after a Celtics playoffs game let out and everywhere was packed.
Can't recall the name, but the sausage and basil pizza was A1.

Believe it or not I took a red baron 3 dollar frozen supreme pizza and I pulled apart 2 mozzarella string cheese and put it all over it and baked it at 400 till it got kinda smoky I think like 18 minutes.That pizza was as good as pizza gets in Las Vegas. That said there is no such thing as a good pizza in Las Vegas. I'm sure it could have ranked like a 7.1 It was delicious. Imo I'd give it like a 7.3 compared to restaurants but compared to other frozen pizzas ya its like a 9.7 definitely the very best frozen pizza I ever had. I thought I had actually bought it from a restaurant. Now that's only due to how I cooked it and the fact that I put the extra cheese. Also I put it directly on the rack. I would love Mr barstool give this a review. I'm so sure he'd give it a 7. And in terms of honestly grading frozen pizzas it's gotta be in the 9s...

You know, it would be a real pizza review if he actually knew and commented on why the pizza is so good, because imo it's the sauce and flavour of the crust and he never really details any of what a real food reviewer would comment on. Everybody knows there's only one rule with Dave!

I've been here. They use a sourdough crust which has a really good unique flavor and other worldly crisp! I would have preferred either shredded motz or more of the cheese they use (chunks of whole motz I believe), but the flavor on their pie is unreal!

Dave, if you like picco then next time ur in ny/nj u have to go to Cassie’s restaurant and get the pizza. It’s a spot 20 mins away from the city in englewood nj, and one of the best pies I’ve ever had no joke. Gotta give it a try
