Its the best sushi spot for people who like the basics (Salmon, Tuna, California roll) They cater to a general sushi crowd. But that makes it really fast at lunch time. My favorite spot right now is Murasaki in Fairfax Town Center.
You are completely right about pointing out the stupid pay to park system in Reston Town Center. Most of the time it's not worth the hassle to go in there. Good job on pointing that out! I used to go there for carry out, but the parking thing has just gotten too crazy. When I'm in the area you can find me around the lakes. I'll definitely try your sushi spot!
Yeah, I hate the parking there and they have like 20 security guards walking around stopping people from taking pictures too. Every time I go here it is because it is for work (like this visit).
@DMVAdventures they try to stop you from filming there? That is bizarre. Man, that is so uncool. There's a lot of great spots to eat in there, and I don't want to disparage or do anything to keep people away from that. It's not the business owners' fault and I remember lots of them being very upset about it when it was instituted. Still, it's great to watch your videos, man!
@ yes, it’s part of capital grill, but the restaurant is dedicated to gourmet burgers. Trust me when I say this, it’s the best juiciest burgers. Hands down. It’s in Reston town center.
The only issue with Night time is that I film with a really really awful camera (GoPro). It looks good in good light and awful at night. My latest Richmond video I did a night segment and it was impossible to see. I'm actually looking into some other options for low-light and night. Once i figure that out I'm going to do a Nightlife in a bunch of places (Reston, Herndon, Falls Church, Arlington, etc)
I love Reston. I used the darkroom in the community center before they turned it into a family restroom. I took canoe lessons on one of the lakes. I have not visited all the places to eat. My best friend lived there but has since passed away.
A few days ago you did Vienna, where I live now. Vienna Inn has a special place in my heart. Today you did Reston. My next home. My wife and I went out on a limb and bought an inexpensive townhouse during the pandemic as a retirement home, and are renting it out now til the kids finish school and we can downsize to Reston Town Center. 60 vines has great pizza and wine. They have the sip and stroll wine also you can grab and walk around RTC with. My wife currently works in RTC so she could walk to work when we move in... I am kinda torn though, Vienna or RTC? Both offer great food, and I have a national park at the edge of my yard right now (Wolf Trap). I need to try Ariake! The new Umai Ramen and donburi in Tysons has been our go-to lately, but Ariake looks worth a try! Great videos of late, keep it up, I thoroughly enjoy them!
Ariake is all about the speed. I can be in and out of there in like 10 minutes. But the speed doesn't take away from the quality. I only end up going there for lunch. They are very basic, its all about Tuna, Salmon & California Rolls which is pefect for a lunch meal. For dinners I go to Murasaki.
Just sub’d to the channel. Looking forward to more content. If I can kindly make some suggestions, maybe reconsider the use of food biting close-ups. It’s a bit unsettling to see down your throat and nose without a Medical degree😊 Also I bailed on this video half way because there were so many cuts. I would be more than happy to look at food or river shots longer than 3-4 seconds. I hope it’s ok to mention these comments as I want to continue watching more of your tour videos. Hope to see one of Falls Church soon! New places keep opening up by the week. Cheers!
Well this one had the worst closeup yet. I just didn't have anything to replace it, lol. It was a bad one. Believe me I saw that too, lol. My videos are all music based at the current moment, lots of fast cuts. Just basing everything off the 425 videos I've done and watching how they perform. Every video is an experiment. This past week there were 5 videos in a new "style". Haven't found the winning format yet. Thanks for watchin
I thought the RTC parking was free M-F after 5:30pm and weekends. Has that changed? Or is that only the parking garages? I have never parked on the streets.
Yeah its still free at night I guess, didn't even think of that. Every time I go its lunch time and I have to pay. I think you can also get validation from restaurants too.
What I find concerning is the fact that he gives no bad reviews which makes believing him hard to do. Wish he was actually honest and not doing it for views or to get attention. Unless he's being paid by the restaurants he reviews, which would then make sense. Concerning.
This is not Yelp or a food review channel. This is just showing things to do. If something is good, I'll mention that. If it is not good I will not lie about it, but I also won't be overtly negative to a small business. Viewers of the channel know the secret code. If I say "The Vibe is great" and don't mention the food, they get it. If I have a whole meal and say "The fries are good", they know. But for the most part, I go to the best restaurants and therefore the food is usually good.
It's so beautiful in the fall, thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching and for all the comments!
Another banger. Gave me some date ideas with the misses. She loves Sushi. Thanks

Bro if you can hit Reston again please try capital burger!! Best burgers and fries! Thanks for the video! Definitely gonna check these places out.
Is that from the Capital Grill?

You missed the tacos from the gas station at Lake Anne! So good. Great videos. Hoping for a Great Falls or Sterling food hits next!
Interesting I didn't even know that was there
Thanks for continuing to represent the DMV. You might be the only good one focused on the DC area.
Thanks!
Request: Do Reston at night. Morning time is boring time.
Thanks for the content.

Reston is interesting. I never knew much about it until I had to work there. The lakes are awesome.

I used to get laid a LOT in Reston when my GF lived there. That was my favorite thing to do there!
I did not have footage of that to include in this video, so I showed some lakes instead.
