You've possible got your controller setup to be an Xbox controller instead of the DualShock 4
On the tab "Other" when he's going through the settings, the option at the top will ask for "Emulated Controller" Make sure you select DualShock in that option.

I have an issue where I successfully installed DS4, played a few games and after alt f4'ing the game, my L2 and R2 buttons arent working and it feels like the program is completely messed up. Has anyone found a fix for this?
I did my settings and changed my controller color to green but when I start up warzone it goes back to blue and nothing changes, is it supposed to do that or no. Anyone got a fix?

These settings are nuts. It actually makes aim assist feel stronger. I'm someone who always warms up against bots before hopping onto WZ (ex KB&M player) and I noticed the difference IMMEDIATELY. My aim has never felt so sticky. I guess the secret sauce is the "Enhanced Precision" on the right stick. Something about this output curve is hyper effective with the way aim assist works in COD.
nothing special about it, it will make your small adjustments slower that’s why it feels so sticky, but it’s a strong curve so it gets way faster if you surpass the middle of your analogstick, which can make flicks in close quarters extremely inconsistent
Its all about personal preference, it’s like a stronger standard response curve
The good thing about ds4 windows is, that you can even create a own custom curve, so the opposite of standard/enhanced precision for example, or faster movement at the beginning which slows down in the middle and then gets faster again, just like you can do with a stock Xbox elite series 2/Dualsense edge/scuf envision and many other pro controller
As long the game developers don’t include custom response curves in games and not only 3 (standard,linear,dynamic), I see no problem with ds4windows
If you are a cod player and u r used to dynamic, it will make switching games annoying/inconsistent for example apex has a true linear but no dynamic, while CoDs linear is not a true linear (has a curve just like standard but stronger) but that’s no problem for people with 200€+ controllers, you can just create your own curve, OR you use ds4windows which is free
While it does make your AA More stickier and more responsive I personally found myself just constantly getting messed up in gun fights.
@@ItZephyr yea because there is now with his setting a very aggressive curve, which will mess with your muscle memory and consistency.
@@kerim_og_9378 Yea it is just way too much for me honestly. I Have lowered my deadzone on ds4 and even in game just for that extra comfort. I'm honestly thinking about switching to linear on DS4 And dynamic or standard In game and see how that goes.

Your settings must be locked on Mouse and Keyboard and your touchpad emulates a mouse. try to switch in the settings if it does not automatically

If i dont use DS4, my ingame deadzone settings can be set to 0.02 without drift. But if i set my DS4 deadzone for LS and RS to 0.00 i get massive drift ingame. So i just set my DS4 deadzone to 0.06 and ingame in MW3 to 0.02. But how to do this right ? my anti deadzone is default 0.20 i belive.

ds4 windows artificial deadzone for the right stick with bind to shot. really hard to set it up but you could use a program like sweatplay which does all the work for you

Make sure you're using a Playstation controller, Xbox does not work with this software. If you are using a Playstation controller, reset through Windows USB settings and unplug and replug the controller and see if it will work
I had to go into setting and turn on Playstation support. It wouldn't recognize my controller

In the Other tab, make sure your Emulated Controller is to Dualshock 4. For the aiming in, there shouldn't be any problems but you might have to tweak with the trigger deadzones and bump all the deadzones up and see if that will work

Have a good look at the Controller Readings tab and try adjusting the sensitivity for L2 and R2 to a value above 100% and make sure you apply and save

I believe you can only use DS4Windows and not DSX with it but the Dualsense with DS4 and these settings (And overclocking your controller) will unlock your controller's full potential! Thanks for the support

Since this outside software is not considered cheating then m&k should have their own crosshairs.
They justify it because you need ds4 to run a ps controller on pc since Microsoft makes Xbox. Xbox controllers are the default. In my opinion it should be used for the emulator feature only. But all the pros do this too so it’s kinda just accepted now…

Thanks for the easy tutorial to follow because I'm terrible with technology haven't tried it yet but will when MW3 gets released I know zoomaa uses DS4 windows and enhanced precision he said it feels good but he also is 5million times better than me 😢 but still hope it helps me at least a tiny bit because I'm terrible at these new cod games 😐

You do know this isn't cloaked. So it doesn't work properly you need the key symbol for ds4 windows to be effectively working.

Make sure to have ds4 windows Imulate an Xbox 360 controller if you want the select button to be the button for the map, for touch pad makes sure it’s set to ps5

BROTHER YOURE MISSING THE MOST IMPORTANT PART! Go to "Other" instead on "axis config" and then scroll all the way down and put your "DS4 BT Poll Rate" to 1000Hz.
Why does this do?
@@Royalclutch818 This increases the rate in which your pc communicates with your controller. All inputs will feel wayyy smoother. All controllers have the polling rate reduced at the factory because if you tried to run 1000Hz polling rate without being plugged in, your controller would die in 30-40 minutes. Maybe less
