Tony Rice rules on flatpicking acoustic that's for sure, always tasty and always funky down home blues inspired BLUEGRASS. True american music and it speaks volumes that Tony Rice also plays Jazz. A delicious mix of cultures and styles. The greatest!
Let's not go there. He is still having a full life with family and his wife Pamela. Wish he could still do what he did, but at least with effort he can speak in his normal voice. It is so painful to see such a talented man not be able to use his gift.
@@plm7311 His gift has affected so many people of so many ages. I’m sure Tony has some regrets as we all do, but I hope he knows that we appreciate him.
He was always a great player, but I've missed that voice most of all. When he gave his speech at the hall of fame I had hope we'd get one more vocal record.
We love you and will miss you Tony.💔

I vote to rename the song to: Everybody Misses Me Now That I'm Gone

This is such sad news…I didn’t know. May his memory be for a blessing as we say in Judaism.
There is no doubt about it. A virtuoso.
Ain't nobody going to miss him when he is gone more like everyone is going to miss him when he is gone
Exact! i miss him now!

RIP Tony!!
I’ve loved Tony Rice since I first heRd him on stage at GW years ago when I first came to DC! Amazing musician
Pure, clear, unfiltered music....as it should be......What a loss to the World.
Tony, Jerry et al redefined the bluegrass sound with their jazzier phrasing.
This is pure bluegrass.........the pickin, music, lyrics, vocals, beat.Super awesome number by Tony.
not only his picking that's amazing, his rythym is also.
that reverse bend he starts his solo with kills it
🔥🔥🔥
@Mike Bastiat What was?
@Mike Bastiat Thats your personal opinion. I think it sounds sick. And nobody gets it the way he did it.
@Mike Bastiat Didn’t know that was slang. Bad usually means bad. My fault
Turns out, everybody misses you now that you are gone.

This is prime stuff. It's hard to find any fault with the sound they make.
