- Will Snip love or loathe the cross country course? That was the main question on my mind when we headed off to Somerford Park Farm for Snip's first ever camp and cross country training.

Just want to say a big well-done to you and snip for giving x country a go. What an amazing change from the first x country lesson to the second x country lesson you had on the last day of camp. I'm sure in the end snip would make a fantastic event horse for you after a lot more training. Keep up the fantastic job your doing with snip and all of your other horses.
Thank you! She definitely made huge improvements, can’t wait to see her progress further
@@lilpetchannel your more than welcome your doing an amazing job with all of your horses and just keep up the fantastic work that you're doing with all of your horses and the blogs
Her face at the end, trotting through the water just said it all - she loved it! That was the perfect opportunity to get her started.
That tack shop looked awesome.
Aww well done! You rode brilliantly. Can't believe how well you sat that rear too! Snip is looking great :) x
Thanks so much! 😊 x
Lovely riding!! You have improved on Snip so much since your earlier videos. It seems like all the lessons and training on Percy are really carrying over, well done!
Well sat on that rear! Your first fall looked like a fluke to me.
Thank you, I think she just got her striding wrong put in a big stride and ran out of room!
Love it! Wish we could do it all again ❤
I really enjoyed this video! Snip is such a gorgeous, athletic mare. You are an incredible rider! Well done! ❤
So good to see snipe out at a trianing camp . IT sounds like you all had a great time. Good luck with all you do, take care and all the best. Too you all hopefully you all learnt something now. 😄😄😄👍👍👍 💟💟💟
It's good that you liked the training, you do it super well, greetings from 🇨🇱❤❤

Even though im only around the corner i would love to stay in them pods for a night just to be on the yard with the atmosphere of other equestrians ❤

Thank you! We both had the best couple of days x
you and your horse are stunning big well done!!
Lovely paces❤
Aaahhh she really is a fab little horse. Love her.xx😊
You have my dream eq (and horse ❤) You rode so beautifully and sat that rear incredibly well, also at 29:40 where Snip shakes her head after the jump my pony Sammy does that too and just in canter as well, have you got any tips of how to stop it or why he does it x (you are my fav youtuber btw)
Thank you so much!! I’ve found riding her forward when she’s doing it is the best way to get her moving into the contact and not taking a hold on the bit. If you pull back to stop her shaking she just does it more so I tend to just ride forward and straight and she tends to find she doesn’t have time to shake as much. Hope that helps x
@@lilpetchannel Thank you I will defiantly try that next ride. We have him on lease and he used to jump like 1.10m and do endurance so is quite an awesome pony but I haven't got that much let's say experience, as i'm only jumping him 70cm now. In fact yesterday on my ride every time I tried to canter he first toes the head shake (that tip is very helpful because what ive been doing is pulling back) then he starts broncing and then comes to a sudden stop and going from canter to halt in half a second is usually which gets me flying across the arena 🤣 This isn't very helpful because I want to be able to compete him in showjumping!! Would it be alright if I got it on video, to post and tag you to show you what he does? And maybe help me to stop it ❤Sorry for the long reply
She’s looking great and you rode her brilliantly. She’s a seriously nice looking horse!
