I'm doing much better, I fully gave up my past life (mainly gaming all day) about a week ago, and felt the best joy I ever felt in years. I'm spending more time with Jesus and reading his word much much more than before.
Sometimes I still falter, like today where I spent most of my morning watching YT, but I won't guilt myself on it and just continue to be in his presence as he told me.

Thank you for sharing. I have been dealing with a lot, I believe that i caught a break a couple of months ago when a relative moved in with me after living alone for 15 months. I do not know exactly what is wrong with me, but I believe that the time I spent isolated change the way I feel such as love and caring for others, it made my heart yearn for them (friends and family). Is there something i can do to get rid of a feeling of despair and hopelessness?

Just abide in the Lord. Give your cares over to Him. I believe that as you learn to rely on Him, your feelings will start to shift. I’m not saying that they will completely go away, but he will help with it

Even though we have darker times in our Christian walk when we fall into loads of sin, it's almost impossible to lose our salvation as we are saved by faith through grace. When we fail to do good we're still justified by our faith and that faith can be proved through our very willingness to repent and keep pushing towards the goal. It gets questionable if our faith is genuine when we don't even want to repent. But if we actually try even when we fail, our intentions still come from actual faith even if we struggle as heck. Lemme know if I'm correct

I can agree with this. I do think that as believers, we should want to not sin and hate sin but that doesn’t mean we won’t sin. Repentance is the key and an honest attempt to stop the sin

I struggle with my faith. I don’t even know if it’s OCD or Intrusive thoughts. Not only that, doubts, negativity and my past still haunts me. I feel guilt in my heart every day sometimes, even when I try to be happy. I told myself if I had started my life over, I would do better and not follow others. I know he doesn’t want us to live by fear and stuck in my past but I’m trying… I’m a 19 year old christian, a beginner trying to read the Bible to understand and follow God.

I think you can have a demon before knowing Christ. I don’t think Christians can have a demon. I don’t know if God gives up on us as much as we give up on God
