In a nut shell, here is a bit about 6.5 PRC-
Typical 6.5 PRC ballistics are a 143gr bullet at 2,960fps (2,782 ft-lbs) or a 147gr bullet at 2,910fps (2,764 ft-lbs). Both of these loads are designed to minimize bullet drop and wind drift at extended range. 6.5 PRC factory loads generally fire the same bullet approximately 200-250fps faster than the 6.5 Creedmoor.

From my search this is literally the best video on youtube of showing this rifle from all different angels and not just standard side angles. Thank you so much for making it. Even showing the inside of the rifle without the bolt and all great close ups of different mechanical parts and texture. More videos like this when presenting rifles is needed on youtube. Its easy to find range test but very rare someone actually showing all different shapes and mechanics of the rifle to get a better vision of how it looks. Stelar work!

Great review RACKNLOAD,these rifles are really accurate out of the box and you sure don’t need to replace the triggers on a tikka,the action is butter smooth.I wish the trigger guards and magazine releases were metal,that is my only nitpick on Tikka👍

Did you find out if it’s a 20MOA rail? Also is the barrel stainless steel that has been ceracoted?
Ideally I want a T3X to go with my T1X and my bolt gun collection is complete.
Add a CTR and you´ve got the best offerings in the entire Tikka range.
I bought one last week and had to send it back after only 6 shots as the bolt was not smooth and almost jammed when loading and it was damaging the action anyone had this problem?
Just waited 2 months for it to arrive and had it for one day absolutely gutted but i had to refuse the rifle as it was damaging itself

What is behind the cover on the left-hand side of the rifle's stock (opposite side of the cheek piece adjuster). Is it possible to swap the adjustment knob to the other side of the rifle? (i.e., if you are shooting left shouldered you can move the knob so its on the left side instead of the right)

That's not cerakote on the roughtech ember, that's stainless steel.

@@frankschneider5566 No, we didn't. At least, when I was searching I couldn't find a single one. Anywhere. I called a few places and word for word they said they wouldn't be receiving them. This is a 9 month old post, if they exist now great, they didn't 9 months ago.
They were available. You just didn't call the right places
No trigger pull to remove the bolt. It is not a Savage junk.

PRC is precision rifle cartridge not caliber and the 6.5 prc is nothing like the 6.5 Creedmoor the parent case is a .300 ruger comp. mag. Haha that sombitch going a hell of alot faster, I'm not usually this much of an asshole but I couldn't help my self this time lol
