Easy Side Dish | Making Oven Roast Potatoes & Dip

  • Beautiful potato wedges, golden and crispy outside, soft inside. Serve straight away, immediately from the oven with a lime yogurt dip.
    Do not peel potatoes. Cut into large wedges. I cut it into 8 equal sized pieces.
    Wait for the water to boil, add the potatoes, boil for 1-2 min in salted water, drain, toss potatoes in a mix of vegetable oil (olive oil is perfect) and your favorite spices and herbs.
    Bake until golden and soft.
    In this video I used curry, garlic and dried dill powder. Also good with paprika, smoked paprika powder, sweet chili powder, or Italian herbs.
    Preheat the oven before baking to 200 degrees (C), 5-10 min.
    Baking time 30 min, 200 degrees (C) = 400 (F).
    Roast potatoes
    1 large potato of 200 gr (You can make more for the whole family)
    Water
    Salt
    1-2 tablespoons vegetable oil (I used olive oil)
    Spices and herbs to taste
    Lime yogurt dip
    Ingredients:
    Greek style yogurt 150gr
    Zest and juice of ½ lime
    Sea salt to taste
