Hi, i can't check the cast shadow only and add light transmission on the texture layer for projection on extrusion in cinema 4d render cuz it doesn't appear, do you have a solution please?
Hi, unfortunately, the Cinema 4D renderer in AE does not allow for light transmission via shadow projection. You would need Ray-traced 3D to be able to extrude and have light transmission. However, you can import a Classic 3D rendered comp (which respects light transmission) into a C4D comp, and you would still see the texture from the Classic 3D content.. The draw back being that you can't extrude the shape in classic 3D. What exactly are you trying to do?
I think I’m having the same problem as the chap above - would you consider making another video of what you explaining as the worm around. I too do not have ray-traced 3d option
This has been quite helpful! Thank you.
I can't believe your video has only 130 views. You created a genius solution for the problem I was facing, thank you!
Great tip. Found that very handy. Thanks for sharing!
Woah! This is awesome! Thank you so much for this tutorial!
