As im a Texas transplant is etts the best place to shot and shoot steel and different distances? Not many great places to shoot in the dfw area compaired to the b.l.m. land avail in 4 corner states. Much love brother! Love the content
ETTS is great if you get there at the asscrack of dawn to get a nice bay all to yourself Otherwise I hear fossil pointe is good for shooting steel out yonder, but most places here to include ETTS make you pay a member fee to access the members only bay as well as to access the long distance bay.
Random question for Jimmy &/or Subscribers: I want to get into more precision rifle shooting. I wouldn't mind learning on my 12.5" AR but I don't want to switch optics back n' forth. Should I buy/build a 16" "SPR" type AR or get a bolt gun in .223? Someone's selling a used Tikka T3X (Lite, I assume) with a KRG Bravo stock for $900.
Been looking to get into doing more with the gas guns and building a 18" but after being fortunate enough to sell off one of my hot rods i decided to get into PRS/bolt guns. Do you have any interest in trying any of that??
Good stuff Jim. Shot my first match 2 weekends back, wind crushed me, as did my inconsistent speed in Black 123gr. Shot a 20" 6.5 Grendel, which used to love Black 123gr but maybe Hornady's QC is slack lately. Learned a lot about wind's power to deflect, and my weakness on ballistics, and the need for consistent ammo loads.
@@jimmybrodriguez I shot another match, same location, last wkd. This time lighter winds, I had more hits. But position gets me a bit still. Spotting targets once on the rifle, that ate lots of my time.
Hey man, are you using a 0 moa or a 20 moa base with your scope on the SPR? I have a similar setup, and am about to pick up a nightforce atacr 4-16x42, and having trouble getting advice either way on this.
@@jimmybrodriguez Thanks a million for the response man! You have no idea how much that helps. Also, all of your videos I have seen have been great/full of good info. Keep up the good work bro
It’s actually Joe Dawson from Bruiser Industries’ drill. He’s an excellent instructor, highly recommend his classes. He also has free printouts of the ladder standards and other drills etc on his website in the resource section.
more of this! one of your best videos yet
Much appreciated
Bro these drills are hard as shit.
You got me now wanting to find one of these DMR matches.
The DMR matches are a ton of fun
Great vids, Jimmy! Thanks for all the free content!
glad you're enjoying it
Dang dude 😎; that looked terrible to do but that’s what it takes! Nice video man
its exhausting but fun
Bro I can’t get that low. Great content as always!
I need to stretch more

Yes Etts or net for distance steel. Fossil point will only let you shoot to 600 or 700 with gas gun

Depends on your budget. If you can afford it and it won't strain you go for it.
Thnx Guy
👍🏽
Another incredible video Jimmy!!
Much appreciated
I’m tired just watching that ladder/prone drill
Then watch something else, genius.
@@RedRaider1803 Brilliant comment, thank you.
@@hajduk_livesapparently I can’t read, thought you were talking shit. My B 😂
@redraider1803 just hasn’t had his daily allocation of crayons so he’s a little cranky lol
@@RedRaider1803 haha, nah, no shit talking. All good man.

Yeah i just shot NRL. Some bolt content will finally be dropping
Was your scope rotating in the ring mount, towards the end of the last drill? Awesome drills, gonna emulate that today!!
No, the spacer on my trigger cam mount broke. It was the camera rotating around the scope
@@jimmybrodriguez aight awesome. Another question what trigger cam you got? I've never seen one in real life hahahha.
Talk about bullet spindrift

Wind and getting stable is what gets most people

My man caught a sponsor from Toyota
Sheesh one day

What Harris Bipod do you use?
S-BRMP?
Yes but with badger upgrades which I hear is near impossible to get right now
Good lord you got a lot of stuff on and in your SUV 😂
Well I live out of it for up to a week at times so it’s got what I need except a shower and toilet
Why are the comments turned off on the new NRL Hunter video?
There’s an issue on the TH-cam backend. I have to keep turning them back on
@@jimmybrodriguezThanks, Jimmy! Had some questions about NRL and bolt guns. Love your new content.
Jealous of your hip flexibility in that sitting position.
Still working to improve it and strengthen my hip flexor. An old muscle tear causes some discomfort at times
if i had a dollar for everytime he said "Economy of motion"
Efficiency of movement
Frugality of action

That’s awesome. Love to hear it. Joe and I are friends I’m gonna tell him it’s my drill now lol
