    Jump rope is some of the best cardio out there. You get the equivalent of running miles without the impact and strain on your legs and knees, its also really good for your core.

      @@lavapop1900 haven't done any research, but I think the little hops you're doing are way less damaging than running. I think it might take most of the strain off the knees because you're jumping with pretty much just your calves, without shifting your knees like you would when doing even a slight jog.

    I'm 5'8. I weighed 269lbs. I now weigh 171lbs. I did it in about a year give or take ONLY by drinking more water (1gallon), ONLY jump roping (maybe 3 times a week), and I stopped eating everyday at about 5pm.... that's it.... no pills, no tricks, no coach, I still ate fast food almost everyday and still do. Don't over complicate it people. My 2 biggest rules though are stay consistent, and make sure you HAVE FUN with it!!!!!

    You can also fast throughout the day 20-4 or 18-6. And workout on empty stomach. Both will teach your body to pull energy from the stored fat as opposed to working off the sugars(carbs) in the bloodstream. Will lean you out… more veins popping 😮

    Abs are built in the gym, but revealed in the kitchen. Six pack = low body fat + hypertrophy of abdominal muscles. You need both, not one of the two. You need to train your abs hard in every training session and 'cut' at the same time. Proper nutrition + smart training + supplements (if you've got the extra money) will get you there. Fix your diet first: cut out all junk / processed foods and start eating whole, nutrient-dense foods that support metabolic / gut health. Use progressive overload and focus on multi-joint exercises (i.e. sit-ups, leg raises, crunches, etc). They are the best for building the abs. If you are a lifter seriously interested in aesthetics / performance / strength, go study Old-School bodybuilding. Old-School bodybuilders were ingenious physique architects. They had a profound knowledge of the principles of proper nutrition, smart supplementation, exercise science and muscle adaptability. If you combine Old-School bodybuilding wisdom with modern, evidence-based science, it's the best, safest, most effective way in achieving a strong, sexy, healthy and aesthetic physique. Vintage Physique by George Kelly is a nice read on the topic.

    Deadlift (depending on weight) as it works on all muscle and burns fat than cardio/jump rope here.

    the most calories you're going to burn in the shortest amount of time is just eating less and not needing to burn more. A good jump rope session burns 100 or 200 calories. You can cut out like 500 calories a day with portion control and smarter choices.

    He technically has some low abdomen fat remaining. He is in a healthy fat range overall, but in order to get that last bit, it is usually the very last thing to go! I’m going through this now. Just gotta keep going!!

      @@squarehammer4619 it’s all diet for the body fat. I would suggest if you like running, keep running, but if it’s to lose fat, I would switch to walking, after each meal, keep yourself in a calorie deficit and focus on bodybuilding. You want to maximize your recovery and running can make you a good runner, but not great for fat loss alone. Just some things I’ve learned along the way. Cardio only makes up 5 percent of your daily calorie expenditure so you don’t get much from it. Again if you love it for the endorphins than go for it. But I have walked my way to single digit body fat by following the experts in the field who deal with natural bodybuilders. When natural, recovery is so important. And try to get 7-8 hours sleep. It will help make sure the weight you lose is fat and not lean mass. Good luck!!

    Started jump roping a couple of years ago and it’s the best cardio and fun as hell too. Helped me get super lean and get my abs back. Then I developed plantar fasciitis in my feet. Haven’t jump rope since. Sucks man 😔😢

      His teaching also isn't correct. Cutting carbs means absolutely nothing for getting abs, as long as you're in a calorie deficit and getting enough protein you're good.
      Also there's no specific amount of water to drink, as long as you're hydrated you’ll be fine.
      Lastly while jump rope is very good cardio it's not the only thing you can do. Every other form of cardio will get you good results just as much. He also left out actually going to the gym as building muscle burns calories because your body has to sustain the mass and will help you lose weight faster than just doing cardio.

    i have abs from running 6-8 miles a day 5 days a week. fast running where I'm drenched in sweat after. never did a single exercise that focuses on abs. they were visible but not that well defined because of a poor diet and soda and energy drink consumption. it wasn't till I quit energy drinks, significantly cut down on soda, and started eating healthier where my abs really started showing. I started fasting anywhere from 12 hours to 16 hours at a time so now when I do eat I'm able to eat more food that may not be good for me but at the same time keep my abs

My body took a beating so I switched to exactly what you do but another day of boxing as a workout. I have seen so much results doing this, our body’s don’t need 6 days of lifting I wish more ppl do what we do

      The mechanisms to achieving and maintaining a six pack are the same no matter age. It might get more difficult with age, but at the end of the day, it's about training your abs for hypertrophy and maintaining a low body fat (primarily the latter)

    lemon water is full of simple/refined carbs, which stripped of the lemon's fibre (complex carbs) you absorb much quicker, resulting in a higher blood sugar spike (which is why his abs aren't really showing all that great)

    The lemon water actually works. I use Lemon, LIme, Oragnes, Mint Leaves, Cayenne pepper. Let sit over night then Strain it in to a 16oz Bottle. Drink that first thing in the morning then dink your regular water through out the day.
