Yes Vernon does a lot of American dances and listens to American music but he says he is more connected to his Korean side because when he’s interviewed, people only see him as a foreigner so he has to remind them all that he’s lived in Korea since he was 5. His mom doesn’t speak Korean so he speaks it English at home but other than that, Vernon really speaks English sometimes on Award speeches, and interviews if he feels like it. And his song lyrics are more meaningful in my opinion since he can do both English and Korean meanings
