      when I was 12 my best friends dad worked at the Hamburg pa civic arena where they filmed championship wrestling. I went once or month or so . They filmed all shows for a month in a night. I hung out running wild thru the place, back stage area a between the dressing rooms behind the bleachers, getting Vince water at the tv table. ALL the greats I have pictures with Greg being one of them..... It was insane.

      Without a doubt he is very level headed, smart, but more wise than smart. So much ignorance in their profession. Valentine would have been successful no matter what path he chose in life, it's because he is humble and wise.

    But Greg just comes right out and says "i got to know him and he was a hell of a guy". No hesitation, just said what he thinks - honest truth.

    It seemed the almost instant success in WWF went to his head. The common theme I see in the interviews other wrestlers do about him was that they resented him over his huge push from WWF, they thought he was arrogant and an AH, but after a few years when they got to actually know him, he was a pretty cool guy.

    • @kennyhouser3467
      @kennyhouser3467 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I used them to play football past High School. Never really abused them, but used them plenty of times. More often for recovery than gaining muscle or other reasons like that. A reality many people refuse to accept is why I chose to use them in that case. The reason? Literally everyone else was using them. So it was either start using them myself to keep up or fall behind and get cut. PEDs are still rampant in pro sports. The testing just takes awhile to catch up with the chemistry. That's generally why you see busts in cycles. Some athletes get comfortable in their cycles and use them to the point where the testing catches up and get caught. It also helps to find an insider from the testing agencies. Everyone has a price.

    Greg is one of the few veterans that can be easily recognized today, he was stif back in the day. Garvin was something else as far as Sid vicious said that garvin would exploit wannabe talents with sexual favors from young men.

      Terry garvin is the one concerned with the sex scandal... Not rugged ronnie garvin, he finished his career in wwf in late 1990. He was a former nwa world champion in 1987. Hands of stone

    Warrior didnt just “have” a muscle bound body.
    All the guy did was train and diet. Ate tuna out of the can and the closest he came to sweets was by SMELLING an open bag of cookies!
    That is serious dedication and a ton of work goes into that!!
    Valentine ate his ham and cheese sandwiches, pounded his beers, and remained a second tier guy. Oh well
    Side note, Valentine should have been THANKING the warrior - as his presence on a card undoubtedly drew fans in.
    Nobody came to see you Greg so cry me a river!
