We loved that meal! It was raining hard. You guys did it up right. Excellent service and quality food. Thanks for the Costa Rica hospitality. 👊

What hot springs did you guys go to? All the hot springs have explored costs $50 and such. We're planning a trip for this coming July and I'm looking for all the ideas that can get. On a budget

We are heading down there next year..with the car rental-from what i understand if you can provide written proof of insurance you still have to buy another type of insurance thats mandatory by the govt. Is that what you found to be true?
In my research i have seen good reviews on Economy Car Rental

Did you have a rental car for your entire stay? The quotes I gotten for cars are so expensive for a 2 week period. Can you share more on that topic. Thank you.

Yah, we did. We used Economy Rent A Car and paid there in person. I reserved online but didn’t pay then. And I already had insurance covered on my credit card which kept the costs down a fair bit. But I too was told car rentals in Costa Rica are not cheap. I’m also uncertain if costs are a bit cheaper in the rainy season than peak season. Sorry I can’t help more.

I have the same question. I travel to Costa Rica all the time to rent a car is between $100 to $150 per day. This is due to insurance. I guess he used another insurance but I don't know how I feel about that, streets can be rough, i rather pay the insurance.
