I’m surprised that when Michael was running away he didn’t have a suitcase or a backpack with him. Usually when children run away they have a suitcase or a backpack and a stuffed animal with them.
It’s been 28 years since this happened so Michael is 32 now. He should've know better than to run away from home. Where would he go? What would he do? Who will feed him and take care of him? He can’t take care of himself. Thank goodness he got information on his address and stuff. Running away from home is something children should never do. It’s dangerous and their parents would miss them. I think about running away sometimes but I can’t. I have nowhere to go. I feel safe at home where I belong.
In front of the cops: oh my God are you okay I was so worried about you hug kiss hug kiss hug kiss Once they're in the car: you are in so much trouble you better be ready for the butt whooping you got coming when we get back to the house and this time you're getting the belt and if you ever think about doing something like this again we are not going to come look for you we're just going to let the cops take you away

To a 911 Dispatcher this would be considered a good day and a light day! Very low stress event!
I wonder if he remembers any of this today. He’s probably in his 30’s by now.
