yeah i saw this a mile away i have been a full time reseller online since 98' over 30 years eBay has done money grab after money grab its a bait and switch they want all sellers to get eBay stores and those with eBay stores to UPGRADE there eBay stores period end of story and or they want those that are guidable and lazy to be hit with .25 insertion fees and not even know it till its too late
What you’re allowed in your store subscription isn’t a limit, it’s what is included in the subscription you pay for. Your listing limits are as it says limits….whether that is you reach the listing number amount or dollar amount that’s what they allow you to list up to. It’s 2 completely different things and not a scam at all people just don’t understand one from the other than think “it says I can do 10 million items awesome” - well you can do 10 million, but only up to the 11k you subscribed to will be “free” without the listing fee
