After Phase 2 both current green line and blue line will only go to airport and the link b/w Alandur and St.Thomas mount will be used for Phase 2, which make sense since we dont need 2 lines line b/w same Alandur and St.Tomas route. They will re-use/relay the track and viaduct of Phase 1 b/w Alandur and St.Tomas mount for Phase 2 and both Phase 1 lines will end at Airport.
After Phase 2 opening : Phase 1 green line will either terimate at Alundur or goes only to airport without St.thomas mount connectivity. If someone have to go to St.thomas moutn from Alaundur they have to take Phase 2 line 5 instead of phase 1 green line.
