It was a movie, not a documentary. Movies tend to add n delete parts for the sake of box office drama. The story was obviously about Bob n Rita, Bob’s first love and the person he remained married to until the day he died. Grown people know how relationships evolve. We know the intricacies and turns of a marriage. Muta n Cole have probably had more than one relationship in their lifetime and know it’s possible to love more than one person in a lifetime. No one is negating Bob’s love for Cindy, but she herself was not his only love nor was he committed to Cindy for there is a child born after Damian. Why are certain people trying to elevate Cindy over Rita when based on his life career Cindy was not a major influence in Bob as a Rasta nor his revolutionary music of black liberation/ repatriation. How could she when she was not Rasta? Cindy was not Bob’s first , only and last love. She was one amongst many who Bob loved. Shame on Mutabaruka. He has just lost my total respect. Why is Cole n Muta trying to elevate Cindy and not their sister, Rita? Better they stay silent and gossip amongst themselves than to conduct themselves like chatty chatty little girls. I honestly believe Cindy is collaborating with others behind the scenes to project herself as Bob one and true love, but what about all his other baby mothers n girlfriends? What makes Cindy believe she is the one and only when Bob never declared that to the world when he was alive? Now everyone wants to tell their version of Bob story to suit their own egos. Let the dead rest for peace sake. This is total MADNESS. Muta, fiyah fi dat! You should be ashamed of yourself. As a fellow Rasta I expected better from Muta, but now we know who is Muta and through rumors we know that Allen Cole has his own stake for telling his version of a story, but as the saying goes their is always three parts to a story. Too bad Bob is all too dead to speak for himself, but in the end he left his queen, Rita, in charge of his legacy and it’s best that we abide by Bob’s wishes and stop with the bull💩.

I agree. I think the negative narrative that is put out there by other people who are not part of their family circle will cause a great dive. People are upset that Cindy, the mistress, was not centered. Out of all the mistresses, she seems to be the only one thirsty for attention.

Rita's children love their mother and any one who truly loves their mother would defends her if they think there is something out there that may make her feel a way f she saw it. What Ziggy and his sisters did is perfectly fine.
Why would they need to add Cindy in the move? The movie was not about Bob and Cindy, it was about Bob and his music. Rita was there from the beginning to the very end. Cindy came in later same as all the other children's mother. None of them needed to be highlighted because the movie was not about Bob and the mother of his children. It makes perfect sense for Rita to be in it because she was his wife, It makes no sense at all for Cindy to be included if the other mothers, did not get included.
For goodness sake it was a less than 2 hours movie that covered a few years of his life, not his entire life. People do need to move on from the Cindy thing. This is casting such a bad image of Jamaicans. This movie is to highlight the impact and contribution of Jamaican music on the world stage and the, peace, love and freedom message to the world and you have people battling about Cindy? Really?

His right to do that! Everyone wanted a different story...oh well! The movie is about Bob, not his side chicks. Bob's mom said Rita was the one Bob loved the most and had the most respect for! Read the book ans watch the movie! Bob have plenty of time to divorce Rita, but he didn't! He stayed married to her til the end! Get over it! 😂

No biopic covers everything. As short as King Bob’s life was you can’t squeeze 36 years into a relatively short film. At least they did him better with a biopic than they did Mahalia Jackson - her two biopics so far are quite cheesy for such a legend.

Why does it have to be jealousy, according to some. Why is he not a Son who feels slighted by the way his mother was treated. Remember Me. Rita Marley was that man's mother and he lived through her pain, oneliness, and the disrespect she endured from his father. We as humans ought to be mindful that Ms. Rita is a person with feelings. She married a man she loved, they had a family, and her husband decided he no longer wants his family. That doesn't change how his wife felt about him.
Now I'm not a Jamaican, and I'm old enough to know anything about Bob and Rita Morley. As a matter of fact I was born the year they got married. But as a woman who is a wife and mother I feel compassionate towards Ms Marley and total shock at the was she was treated.
