Um. Holy shit. Dude's good. And not that he needs to be, but that his performance is actually honest and not contrived. That what he's doing is for himself, to make peace within himself, it's heavily clear. Too cool.

And disappear into the obscurity of the PBS listener audience? Maybe he can hit it on the back around when it is more obvious that he would be doing them the favor. I wish artists like him had better touring options.Legitimacy with a fan base rather than the flavor of the day.
Tiny Desk is not obscure and I’d say the vast majority of listeners are us, not NPR listeners. It’s a highly respected platform that catapults people’s careers. If I made it to Tiny Desk, that would mean I ‘made it’. Scroll thru Tiny Desk vids and see how many huge ‘stars’ are on there and the millions of views.
I'm so endlessly grateful for Nick and the art he creates. Found his stuff while going through a hellish time in 2019, and life didn't get easier for any of us from there 😅 The impact his music has had on my life has been so deep and powerful. All the more beautiful that he seems a true and genuine person, suffering out loud so we can all grow together. Digging in the dirt and finding a heart full of humanity. I really really hope he makes it to the UK someday soon so I can yell and dance and sob front row at a show 💘
