This is so beautiful. I love Charlie’s voice so much and the instrumental is so full, everything just fits so perfectly.
I adore everything about this performance. So intimate and Charlie’s Voice live is just 🤌🏻.
His EP is hands down one of my most listened to this year.

I’ve probably commented on here already, but, holy fuck! Count the Stairs is fucking brilliant. That kind of writing can’t be learned.

too damn good 😌💓🤝
are the songs recorded live or pre recorded with video done after? either way great production
Anyone know what kind of guitar Charlie is playing in the beginning?
I think it’s a resonator but I’m not sure.
I don't think it's a resonator because there's no metal plate on the body of the guitar. it's some kind of vintage arch top guitar, but I can't read the brand and I'm not savvy enough to recognize it. you can see a snippet of the brand on the neck under his tuner and it says "amico" but that's not the whole word.
@@ekg793 yeah now that I think about it it’s definitely not a resonator. Do you know how he got that muted tone? I can only get that tone with palm muting or a sponge in my guitar strings.
yeah, I knew for sure it wasn't a resonator. I agree with Reid G- definitely a vintage arch top guitar. For the muted tone -At 1:59 you can see he's got a tissue between the strings and the headstock. It also almost looks like a mask shoved between the strings and the body at the tailpiece. Who knows, he might even have some really old flatwounds on it too for that dead/muted tone. I am obsessed with this tone!!
Kamico (Kay) acoustic electric archtop.
