Hi. Very instructive video. Regarding to break-even that should be to zero, I increase the fixed cost to $102,000 and get break-even of 8,000 in units and $334,000 in dollars amount. Thank you for teaching.
Hello. Your video is super helpful! May I ask if I regularly input the same amount of total cost monthly, how do I calculate when I will reach break-even? thanks a lot!
Hello, thank you for this tutorial, it is very useful. I have a question: why do you weight the average price on the sales forecast? I don't understand the meaning of doing this. I mean: if my product's price is100$ and my sales forecast for this product is 20%, why should I consider only 20$ as my weighted avg price, as you show in the video? Shouldn't my product's price still be 100$?
I have another question, how do you do break-even analysis for projects that don't have the same price since it may vary from every project? Like for example, an architectural firm?
Hello. May I know where did the total units came from? For example the 2000, is it the total units for Soap? Or is it the total units of all products during the first month? Pls answer. Thanks!
Hello, thanks for the video! What to do if I have various products in the same category for the same product? For example for jewelry I have earrings but 20 different model with different prices. Thanks!
Edit: if i want to start a business that sells product A and B but i have not sold them yet. That means there is no way i can find sales in unit, right? But to find weighted average contribution margin, i need to know the sales in units of both product A and B. Because WACM = (( no. of sales of A *CM per unit of A) + ( no. of sales of B* CM per unit of B)) ÷ Total no of sales. But is there a way to find wacm with finding no. of sales? Sir, i have no mentor to explain me. Just a brief response will clear my doubt. Ty
Hi plz reply (Urgent) I have calculated the break-even separately using only one product and normal BEP For example Soap Selling price = 30 Variable cost =22 Fixed Cost. = 100000 Formula used BEP = Fixed cost / (Selling price - Variable price) 10000/ (30-22) = 12500 In your video it is 1568.63 ,Plz explain why they are not the same. Help me
@@ExcelAZ yeah that I understood it’s for multiple product but if we want to take the break even points (Units ) for soap only (for example) it should match the Breakeven that is coming in video 1568.63 I m confused , if you help me in understanding. Plz
@@ExcelAZ Do you also have a video that the price per unit varies for monthly and yearly? Just like in subscription? Do I have to separate the monthly and yearly or should I just use the monthly price?
Thank you, finally found exactly what I wished for.
Glad I could help! 🥂

Are you talking about multiple product breakeven or single product breakeven ?
Hello, is the total fixed cost from the annual data, monthly or daily? Will it work on whatever time period I choose?
This is just sample data. You have to enter data based on your requirement.
When you have an in-depth understanding of a topic, you don't even have to speak to teach that topic to others.
This is watch & learn concept.
where did you get the numbers for the total units in the 3rd table
🤔

Based on hourly billing rate.

Total units is based on based on break even units.
At yours orders. I hope that you can post more instructional videos.
Of course. I have plan.

@@ExcelAZ Do I get an average of the prices, I feel like it wouldn’t be accurate?
Help pls
May I know what is your exact requirement?
Plz plz can explain me how I can I find sales forecast
Do you have your past sales data?
@@ExcelAZ hi i have the same question, but i dont have the past sales data. so how do i forecast? urgent
Forecast works with past sales data. If you don't have it then you have to calculate manually with relevant facts.
Is this the gross profit percentage of sales Forecasting

1. To find break even you don't need to sell. Do you know what is break even exactly?
2. Why you comparing weighted average with break even?
3. Do you know what is the exact use and where to use weighted average?
4. Are you working? Or do you want to start your own business ?

Hi plz reply (Urgent)
I have calculated the break-even separately using only one product and normal BEP
For example
Soap
Selling price = 30
Variable cost =22
Fixed Cost. = 100000
Formula used
BEP = Fixed cost / (Selling price - Variable price)
10000/ (30-22) = 12500
In your video it is 1568.63 ,Plz explain why they are not the same.
Help me
BEP in units or BEP in value ?
BEP in Value = Fixed cost / PV Ratio
BEP in Units = Fixed cost / Contribution per unit
This video for multiple products Break even. Here we are using weighted average.

Hello. Shouldn't the net income equal to zero if it's break-even?
can you explain briefly ...
@@ExcelAZ Should the profit or loss equal to zero? 'cause breakeven means zero right? Revenue-VC=CM and then CM-FC should equal to zero.
@@ExcelAZ Do you also have a video that the price per unit varies for monthly and yearly? Just like in subscription? Do I have to separate the monthly and yearly or should I just use the monthly price?
Total cost and total revenue are equal.
