- Russia has charged four men for the attack on Friday that killed at least 137 people in Moscow. ISIL-K has claimed responsibility, while Russian President Vladimir Putin has blamed Ukraine. Putin is just coming off another election victory, and has long promised the country security. Will the worst attack on civilians in Moscow in more than a decade have an effect on his power?

I would be impressed if Ukraine was involved. I would suspect that Ukraine does not have the planning capability and the ability to make contacts with ISIS K or any distant group. Even America could try such an act of penetration and sabotage, but it would require help from some groups in the Middle East or Central Asia.
There is NO shortage of enemies in Central Asia. Russia and America have paved highways across multiple lands with bodies of people's subjugated and ravaged by Russia's and America's clandestine operations. Who would help? Who would benefit from a destabilized Russia? Who would want to inflict damage on Russia?
Who has the motive and the connections and resources to attack Russia with such methods?

Russia's aggressive nature emerged immediately after the collapse of the USSR, when in 1992 it created the Collective Security Treaty Organization. This happened three years before the former Warsaw Pact members began negotiations to join NATO.

1992 - 1993 - occupation of Transnistria and creation of a quasi-state there
1992 - 1993 - war in Abkhazia and the creation of a quasi-state there
1992 - 1997 - participation in the Civil War in Tajikistan
1994 - 1996 - First Chechen War
1999 - Dagestan war
1999-2009 - Second Russian-Chechen war
2008 - war against Georgia and annexation of 20% of Georgian territory
2014 - annexation of Crimea and the beginning of a de facto war against Ukraine
2015 - present - military operation in Syria
2018 - present - participation in the Civil War in the Central African Republic
During the two Chechen wars, Russia killed more than 200 thousand civilians - its own citizens.

The relationship between USA and ukraine/israel shows the duplicitous and unreliable nature of American so-called friendship. They are a great friend until inconvenienced and then they don’t answer the phone. Russia stands by its friends.

The elections in Russia were transparent and free with more than hundred international observers. The Russians were more than unanimous with the record high turnout and a record of more than 80% voting for Putin. So, I can't understand Al Jazeera playing the White House game, while Russia firmly supports the Palestinian course for the independent state, even to the extent of damaging its ties with Israel with whom Russia has got the visa-free for a long time with the largest number of Jews in the world living in Russia. That's some stand.
