A pipe organ will always sound so awesome. I recall the first time I ever heard one. I was about 4 and my folks took me with them to the local college to see the original Phantom of the Opera. the venue had a pipe organ and the player was a master. as the old silent film flickered and the scary phantom was fresh in my mind, i remember hiding by the giant crimson stage curtains and watching from just behind them... The pipe organ was so big and it's sound so consuming. it shook my little body and I was thrilled by it, while being frightened of the phantom. I will never forget that feeling as long as i live. I was terrified, but couldn't look away. The sound almost seemed to come through me. I loved that feeling
The Pyre is one of the best tracks of all time ...

So damn cool! Amazing is the right word! Am I the only one that thinks they sounds like Solstafir in the song A Empire? Wish they could collaborate on some tracks nevertheless with those organs or whatever they use! ❤
Perfection, period!! I love how simple it is, you don't need extra layers? then don't do it. These guys know what's the songs really need, no need for extra's. Keep it basic. I need to take exemple on them.....i always do too much and sometimes, you simply don't have to.
So here’s a fun fact: I was almost annoyed that The Pyre was released as a single beforehand because I thought to myself…..where do you go after that? how in the fuck do you top that? if *THAT* doesn’t close an album then what the shit possibly does? ….until they said ‘lmao, watch *this* ‘ and gave us Anthem. This is easily, without a question, album of the year. Hands down the best piece of music I’ve heard all 2024 and it won’t even be close by the end of it. Honestly, this was probably my AOTY before it even came out, and The Rifts may have some stiff competition as their best work to date. A fucking empire indeed.

Damn, this might be one of the best albums I've heard this year. Thy pyre is like getting soaked in rain of liquid metal.
Top 3 best albums of 2024 for sure. This is absolutely incredible.
What other two?)
@@user-kc9dj1on2q Vipassi's 'Lightless' and (so far) 'The Imperious Horizon' by Winterfylleth. But the year isn't over yet! :)
Wonderful album, melancholic and powerful at the same time.

#4, #5, Bon album 2024!
Excellent piece of art !
Album of the year. Awesome in the true sense of the word, epic, and inward . Thank you for this
A more experimental and atmospheric approach than on their previous albums. The last 2 tracks in here are really crushing and also my favourites

That sounds great, I hope I get it in my Pelagic subscription pack next month! ❤
Eagerly awaited album and it s hauntingly beautiful. Whole album hits a soft spot but "The Anthem" is soul damaging
