Very well done! This video finally got me through this process. I'm surprised there isn't a template that already does this, but since there isn't, this video was a huge help.
amazing!! Well spoken. Ive been pounding my head against the wall for a week now. Trying to figure out how to add an attachment based off of a response from forms within planner. Although this is slightly different it shed a whole new light upon me, and I am forever grateful Sir. THANK YOU! JSON Is like a new name for YODA or some SH@t :)
Thanks! Glad I could help. Also, be aware that attachments in Planner tasks aren't really attached in the same way as email or SharePoint list item attachments work. They're actually links. If you're using a group form connected to the same group the plan is connected to, they'll go into that group's SharePoint site and linking is pretty straightforward. If you're using a personal form, you need to either copy them to that site or create a sharing link for them.
I can't find a way to get to the run data that shows the INPUTS & OUTPUTS. Clicking on the Get Response Details box doesn't open anything up for me. Any clue why?
@@TCJones I'm conditioned to perform all copy and paste operations through a good plain text editor (usually Notepad++ on Windows or bbedit on MacOS). It helps to avoid oddities that occur due to different character encodings and such.
You saved my life! Thanks a lot! ❤

Are you certain you're specifying the same form (or form ID) in both the trigger and the get response details action?
where did you get the json payload from?

Tried this, but get,
[
{
"message": "Invalid type. Expected Object but got Array.",
"lineNumber": 0,
"linePosition": 0,
"path": "",
"schemaId": "#",
"errorType": "type",
"childErrors": []
}
]
You get that where? In the editor/flow checker? Or when the flow runs? I need a bit more information to diagnose your issue.
@@cvkealey sorted it, but it was when i coped your code in and ran it. But it did not like copy and paste from you tube, was fine when i typed it.
