    Tyson dude dont stupid. He trains professional olympians, mma fighters and NFl football players. He can get people in much better shape than a body building coach.

    Westside's tip for benching: Shove a 2x4 under your bench shirt before you lift.

    Jesus, why are people such haters? :) It used to make me mad, but at this point it's turned hilarious that, in this instance, there are Internet warriors who probably can't bench 100 pounds saying Louie fucking Simmons doesn't do things the proper way. Just because you think it's better (i.e. safer) to squat your little fanny weight for a thousand sets of a million instead of getting up under a heavy weight that might hurt your feelings, it doesn't mean you have to be a bitch.

    Wut? And ok this isn't so much directed at you but I gotta say this. Number one do you guys realize how old he is?? And two no offense to crossfitters but you guys aren't really setting any records or anything.(strong man, powerligting or olympic) They are. and most of his guys and some females are squating 800lbs and over. But I get you guys like running. I would just rather be able to carry 500lbs on my back for 350m and take rests. But hey that's me. =/

    body builders train for looks not preformance.

  • @tysongriffen
    @tysongriffen 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    this is for Crossfit training, isn't crossfit for getting in shape, not powerlifting

  • @tysongriffen
    @tysongriffen 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I forget even writing this. I'm just saying that I think for quality of reps, a bodybuilder would be of more help, a trainer that is as well recognized as this guy, of course he has great advice for strength training but so does a bodybuilder. And in my opinion the bodybuilder might be of more assistance. But that's just me. God bless

    the problem with that is when you focus on the weight you re lifting you lose the most important thing about the lift and thats your form. When you lift to much weight your form is destroyed, you need a weight thats comfortable for you, and allows you to get a high rep range with a medium difficulty pulling off 12-20 reps

    What are you saying. Your telling me PL aren't fit because they can't do a million kips, 100 stanches, 500 burpees, ex, ex? PL's are just as fit and have just as healthy as a diet as any bodybuilder. Oh yea last time I checked OLY lifters don't and never will train high reps and high reps for an OLY lifter is anything more than 5 or 6.

    Hi, have you considered "MuscLeader" (just search Google)? There you can watch a good free video showing how to start building noteworthy muscle mass really fast whilst burning excess fat as well. Geoff is one of the countless guys that experienced great success utilizing this strategy. I hope it helps you too.

    Hey there, have you considered "Musclegends" (look on Google)? On their website you will find a nice free video featuring the way to start building visible muscle mass fast. It made it possible for Devan to overcome his bodybuilding plateau and build cut muscle with no fat super fast. I hope it will work for you as well.

    @tysongriffen why we have here is a guy in the field for many years telling people how to get strong. your statement alone saying bodybuilders are nearly as strong shows u have close to no knowledge on these subjects at all.

  • @tysongriffen
    @tysongriffen 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    the problem with this is you have a powerlifter telling people how to get in shape. I much rather take the advice of a bodybuilder, not only are they nearly as strong they know the more important things about getting fit. Like nutrition. You can maybe do 1000 sit ups, or bench 400 ibs, but you re not going to see as the results unless you have proper nutrition

    I think he's wrong. With proper technique it IS a chest exercise.
