And shitty sound engineering! I swear somehow it took a dive when Chris left. I saw them open for BR in 2004 and it sounded great, aww them In Chicago late 2006 sounded great… once Chris left it seems the live sound took a dive. Not production-wise, but like timing and such

if only I had gotten into rise against pre 2008. those first 4 albums are magic and not comparable to their stuff that came after. it's still rgeat and I enjoy most of their work still but those first 4 albums... man
Tim lost this type of growly vocal around 2013 or so... Age caught up to him fast, it feels strange to hear him use a softer voice to perform these songs
So glad I got to see them in 2007 in Long Beach. Maybe my favorite concert I ever went to. The mosh pit was insane. It was an ice rink and the entire ground floor was moshing.
Calling Sufferer and the Witness "old school" is off. It's still a damn fine album, but not old school. Old school is when Rise Against was on Fat Wreck Chords and released The Unraveling and Revolutions Per Minute..
2007 was the year I bought my first two Rise Against records. SSOTCC and TSATW two weeks later. I've been in love ever since then. I love the earlier sound and I love their sound now. Just because it's different doesnt mean it sucks. Tim may not have the greatest voice anymore but he's still rocking his heart out during every fcking show, just like the other guys. And their lyrics are still beyond awesome. Rise Against/Tim still write the best sociopolitical lyrics, along with Bad Religion/Greg Graffin. Can't wait till October when I see them again for the third time :)
+insomniacidiot totally agree with you! But in my opinion he still got the greatest voice cause he can sing clean(almost :D) and he still got this rough voice and he can still do this fucking awesome screams!! XD ..and I saw them too in october :D
the first song i ever heard from Rise against was prayer of the refugee and instantly i loved it for the sound the meaning everything about it was just amazing (But you could say that about all their songs)
Everyones talking shit, but Tim still has the greatest rock voice I know. So they don't have the same punk rock sound? Theyre adults, they're maturing. Punk rock is fun and all, but lets face it, a lot of punk is just rebellious teenager music. Rise Against is the best at what they do
they should start playign chamber as intro again...it is still the. seeing everybody pusching fist in the air..still one of the most amazing things i have ever seen!
+Awka Liwen I miss the anger, I miss the emotions carried on stage. Nowadays I have a feeling they lost that spirit. It's not a bad thing, we all evolve and grow different, but I just miss it :(
Saw them 3 times between 03-07 and they were so good. The after Suffering the music never had the same feel or spark and live they just dont cut it anymore from vids ive seen. Wish they still sounded like this but they will always have that 3 album run (RPM, Siren Song, and Suffering) that is up there with the best.
Mullet Tim was best Tim, still had that raw energy that's lacking from their more recent albums. Saw them in Dublin a few years ago B.C. Great to see live but no enegy
Recently saw them live at one of their free shows, was so much fun. But seeing this really makes me realize how much tim has burned out his voice. I mean the end of prayer for the refugee? Can you even imagine if he tried doing that now with all that energy and power? I wish he still had that amount of power
I saw them for the first time last year and, I do wish I had see them in the time of this show, it should have been an awesome experience to see this live
I think he damaged his voice singing ready to fall. That, and years of shouting and screaming plus getting older. He used to hit all the high notes in his chest voice but now sings in his head voice which is a higher pitch.
Jon Clarkson he didnt hurt his voice on one song he did a side project called "The killing tree" if anything hurt his voice its that or you know, years of singing strainful music. his older style wasnt easy to do.
Jon Clarkson I've been a fan of rise against since give it all and i have loved their sound then and now. I don't see why all of these rise against "fans" hate on their sound.
Firstly I did not believe that I'd love it, and take a look at myself now I'm spreading this myself personally! *watch?v=kEe260z453k* Like her voice! I provided the youtube URL on top
I just saw them last year and over course, it's a lot better in person than on camera, but Tim's voice is getting a little strained. They still put on a fucking great concert though.
yeah i like their work with chris more, i cant say that i like it more by alot, but i LOVE zach's energy! i think he's still a good guitarist worthy for the band to keep tho :)
+Ollie “foREVer A7X drummer” Bonugli Agreed. He missed his cue at a point of the song and the instruments were off key at some points. Other than that, overall good performance.

Clayton Green sorry but, in my opinion, Zach has a terrible live voice. He is good at the guitar, but not on every song (listen to any live rendition of Collapse. He massacres the guitar.)
I wonder what happened to their punk sound. And with that I mean their instruments sound so much heavier in older concerts. Now they sound so poppy in the newer concerts
+Revert1989 This one concert in particular sounds heavier. I have attended all of their shows in my city for the last 10 years except last month because I too feel like they lost something. I guess we all grow older :(
this is the best version of RA.
crunchy, cranky, powerful, raspy vocals and zachs tuned guitar.
their best years
Yep
And shitty sound engineering! I swear somehow it took a dive when Chris left. I saw them open for BR in 2004 and it sounded great, aww them
In Chicago late 2006 sounded great… once Chris left it seems the live sound took a dive. Not production-wise, but like timing and such
@@aWhimTested yeah man, totally agree with you. They fall off pace on every song. Altough they are great, this really bothers me sometimes
I really love how much distortion and gain has Tims guitar, real raw sound
Brandon is one of the most underrated punk drummers of all time
The dude seriously rips. My favorite is smelly ( nofx ) though
He makes it look so effortless and easy that he nearly disappear, but he´s a freaking beast.
FACTS
And Bill Stevenson too
I wish he would rock out a bit more.
He is damn good but I love seeing drummers beat the hell out of their kits.

if only I had gotten into rise against pre 2008. those first 4 albums are magic and not comparable to their stuff that came after. it's still rgeat and I enjoy most of their work still but those first 4 albums... man
RPM is still their best album imo
the black market is super good aswell, an album i feel people look over when they talk about RA
These vocals are very harsh for the throat but i wish he could still sing like that
You can make them without hurt.
You are right man. I saw them on 2018 and it was tough to listen to. Still a great show!
This was by far the best performance of Ready to Fall they ever did, fucking amazing.
My favorite of this performance by far.
Just read at where the lyrics began lol
all my favourite rise against songs in one video
I think its my favourite video on youtube
This was Tim's best haircut.
Agreeeeeed 🙌🏻❤️
I liked his horse one
I agree. He looks like a hardcore leftist
Holy, wow truly impressive vocals from Tim!! Still obsessed with Rise Against to this day!
They were such a great punk rock band. Now they are an ordinary rock band.
2019 and I love them just the same as I did in 2007!
That finally prayer to the refugee scream was so satisfying and amazing!
They should really do an old school setlist like this for a tour!
I would pay anything to see Torches performed live. There are no decent recordings on TH-cam, and it's one of my favourites songs :'(
I would give my fucking house just to see them play Generation Lost live!
I don't own a house, but ditto..
Calling Sufferer and the Witness "old school" is off. It's still a damn fine album, but not old school. Old school is when Rise Against was on Fat Wreck Chords and released The Unraveling and Revolutions Per Minute..
@@AlmostaFlipinSkater so the 14 year old album isnt old school but the 17 year old one is? kinda splitting hairs over 3 years arent you?
Holy shit, why does the quality of this video remind me of American talk show's of the mid-90s?
amazing video remember watching this on much loud when i visit family
thank you for showing this
cada tanto tiempo vuelvo aca para disfrutar de la mejor epoca de mi banda favorita, como extraño los viejos tiempos!
lindos tiempos
Thank you for uploading and timestamps! This was a really good concert!

very raw and passionate rise against---love it =D
agreed!
the first song i ever heard from Rise against was prayer of the refugee and instantly i loved it for the sound the meaning everything about it was just amazing (But you could say that about all their songs)
Are yoy still alive?
Everyones talking shit, but Tim still has the greatest rock voice I know. So they don't have the same punk rock sound? Theyre adults, they're maturing. Punk rock is fun and all, but lets face it, a lot of punk is just rebellious teenager music. Rise Against is the best at what they do
they're style changed a bit, but they are still very punk rock, punk rock isnt just a sound
they should start playign chamber as intro again...it is still the. seeing everybody pusching fist in the air..still one of the most amazing things i have ever seen!
perfect performance of Heaven Knows, I almost cried
What a concert..Nice and raw👊
Ahh yes i found this hidden gem 💎
One of the hardest bands to sing along to! Such an awesome voice and he had a deceptively high vocal range
these guys are great just seen them in Sydney Australia dec 2015....they just get better everytime I see them..
Im here for my daily Rise Against.
Seeing them in two about two months... Holy fuck I cannot wait
Good old RA :')
+Awka Liwen I miss the anger, I miss the emotions carried on stage. Nowadays I have a feeling they lost that spirit. It's not a bad thing, we all evolve and grow different, but I just miss it :(
Sauerkraut I think they perform just as well, Tim has just fucked his voice up so badly lol
God damn I love this concert.
Saw them 3 times between 03-07 and they were so good. The after Suffering the music never had the same feel or spark and live they just dont cut it anymore from vids ive seen. Wish they still sounded like this but they will always have that 3 album run (RPM, Siren Song, and Suffering) that is up there with the best.
love this band so much!
OMG Tim's voice. It's amazing how well this band pieces together.
aww this raspy voice
bruh this live performance of heaven knows feels so good, maybe even the best imo, despite having a few errors. feels unreal
Mullet Tim was best Tim, still had that raw energy that's lacking from their more recent albums. Saw them in Dublin a few years ago B.C. Great to see live but no enegy
this band is awesome
Every video of Rise Against deserves more views.
I love the mix on Brandon's drums.
Minute 00:21 through 00:24 is enchanting because it equals and manifests existentialism!
If anyone ever wonder what the expression of seeing the "fire" in someone's eyes then just look at Tim when he performs...
They often do! Not every time but they still do it.
it is nice to see their progression
thanks for uploading this toni
one of the best performances of prayer of the refugee ive ever seen o.O
Epicness is unmeasurable
that is a damn good setlist!!!! most of the live concerts I see, slightly disappoint me in the song choices :( this one however does not :D
My kind of festival
They've been touring for over a year after the release of Endgame, Tim indeed needs a break.
alot of the times they open with the chamber :D
awesome song
Rise Against was f***ing great in the past and is f***ing great now
I really like this concert, the crowd, the band, the setlist... amazing
THESE GUYS ARE SO AWESOME!
Hugely underplayed backup vocals.
this video deserve more views
RA and Anti-Flag are probably the best modern punk bands for sure. If Pop Punk is your thing (I like both) then can't go wrong with Sum 41 either.
Pup has some good stuff, pop punk wise
@@slawssson9447 tbh most PUP Records are rather punk than pop punk
Best Rise Against live
❤
34:20 WTF? ZACH WITH A SG? HAHAHAH
jajjajajajajajajajja
Sewilho This is the Tim's Sg.
He uses in the Siren Song of the Counter Culture tour.
that was Chris not Zach ^^
@@gifty8657 No, that's clearly Zach because he's bald, Chris was never bald and he also had sideburns which Zach doesn't have and never did afaik
Everyone here was having great time instead of recording with their phone like nowadays
What is it that Tim always yells before the Like the Angel solo? He does it in all the like the angel performances
He repeats the lyrics" Got up and left"
very good :)
fairly certain they still do perform like this
INJECTION!
Recently saw them live at one of their free shows, was so much fun. But seeing this really makes me realize how much tim has burned out his voice. I mean the end of prayer for the refugee? I think he damaged his voice singing ready to fall. That, and years of shouting and screaming plus getting older. He used to hit all the high notes in his chest voice but now sings in his head voice which is a higher pitch.

Come to Houston!
Yes, I saw it, he had a fuckin fire blazing.
17:40 o cara ta com uma Camisa do Atletico Mineiro ? 😳
they actually had the same intro when i saw them 2011.

Its called the Virgin Festival because it is sponsored by Virgin. You know, the huge conglomerate.

i want to thumps up but it says 420
i love the band but all you can hear are the drums and fret noise
Give It All was a bit sketchy
+Ollie “foREVer A7X drummer” Bonugli Agreed. He missed his cue at a point of the song and the instruments were off key at some points. Other than that, overall good performance.

You could barely see the Band if youre standing in the first line there ....
I get that Zach and Joe are not singers, but the "woah-ohs" during Chamber the Cartridge are so unenthusiastic that they made me die a little.
really.
Cmon now Zach is really good at singing and guitar.

Jakedesnake97 ok I lied he is a bad singer I really miss chris chasse a lot I want him him back. Jakedesnake97 what do u think about chris chasse?
