I got my Link Buds S Black Friday at Bestbuy for $128.00 and was a great deal. I really like them, I am going to be trying the Buds 2 Pro out also. Great review Shane 👍
How do you compare the fit? Because the galaxy buds 2 pro are so painful in my ear, after 10min my ears are in so much pain. Do you think the linkbuds s are more comfortble in ear?
@@beserksss5678 I have both. Yes, the Linkbuds S are INCREDIBLY light and comfortable in ear. And the sound quality Sony has been able to produce with these is insane.
Currently they are at a very similar price on amazon, which one should I pick between them? I'm not on a samsung phone.
You should also do wired IEMs reviews imho.

I got my Galaxy Buds2 Pro last month for a huge discount at $120. Great deal man. Best value earbuds in 2023.
I have a pair of XM3 earbuds. Great sound, once rammed and secured in my ears, which is difficult. Sony are constantly changing their design of in ear buds. Most Samsung buds I’ve had are ok to wear, but my current daily buds for sound and fit are QCII - superb sound (better than the XM3’s) and fit my ears perfectly.
Yeah I have them too. Unfortunately I had to wait a month until they went on sale to $179 for my Bose. No way was I paying $300 for earbuds.
I saw you mentioned the Sony link buds. I just wondered if you had trouble with them dropping connection. I've been looking all over for an answer to this because I would like to like them, but I've tried two pairs and I'm thinking of taking back the second one I just got because it will not stay connected. If you experience this and found an answer, I would be extremely grateful if you'd share it. Thanks. Great videos!
I had no connection issues with my Link Buds.
Which would you recommend for zoom calls? I'm using a mac by the ways.
I can't really advise you on that one because I don't use a Mac or teams lol
From experience now having my come from the Buds 2 pro, and this week trying the following: yeah Jabra elite 7 pro, Sony WF 1000-xm4, Linkbuds S, and the Soundcore Liberty 4... The Linkbuds S is what I landed on due to the mic quality (from several calls, TEAMS, and Zoom meetings ), the comfort, and the sound quality. The only area they fall "short" on, is they have less battery life than the others. Hasn't been an issue for me though. I really wanted to love the Liberty 4s. Just didn't have the experience that a lot of TH-cam reviewers are claiming to have with them. Also, all of their controls on facetime, teams and zoom calls end the meeting. That's unacceptable. The Linkbuds S controls still work as they're supposed to.

That's a hard question. If I can find the Sony's for about $150 and I'm not a Samsung user I'd probably go that way.
I have found that a bluetooth earbuds tend to sound differently on different smartphone brand.
LG phone made my samsung buds pro sound so muddy i have to ditch the phone 🤣. Xiaomi made the sound ultra bassy. Of course it sounds balanced on Samsung's.
I made sure that there are no eq or filter is running in background and the bluetooth mode is the same across the phone brand. How is this possible for digital data?
Lets call it codec "Translation"..
Most phones are going to use the old SBC codec and apply their own tuning.. while Samsung uses their more advanced Scalable Codec.
If you are non Samsung user, which pair you will go for?

Was going to get the buds 2 pros but got $150 gift card with my s23 ultra so went with the linkbuds s. So far loving them

@@scaryifliteral yes I agree fine tuned the eq setting to my liking and got the ldac going. Love that I can change the eq through the widget. Part of me feels like I should've got the buds 2 pro just for the ecosystem but honestly coming from using wired earbuds and old wireless powerbeats3 since 2016 so these are a huge upgrade already and for no extra money out my pocket it was a no brainer
that's some weak ass battery life
