I don’t blame them about eating dogs , I blame them about how they treat them , I saw dogs still alive suffering in cages in terrible conditions, cows and pigs get treated better than that
I believe that all animals should be treated with care … to be honest I have also seen trucks fulls of pigs 🐖 during the hot season…. But everyone tend to only complain about dogs …. I really believe that we should improve how all animals are treated but that we shouldn’t impose out western valors into another culture…. For Asian is also quite shocking when they hear that we eat rabbits 🐇 in Europe…
people just show you dogs in cages. Actually every food animals are in cages on the way to restaurant 😅😅
if we want they treat the dogs better we should promote this kind of meat, like how people tell us about wagyu cows treat

I love to see a fellow westerner with an open mind. It annoys me how western people complain about dogs yet don't care about chickens and pigs or even fish.
Dog is delicious. And yes, they are food and a pet. The same way you can have pet fish but also eat fish in your diet. Or own aquatiuc turtles but also eat turtle, etc.

I travel to Vietnam for a month last year. In Hagiang dog meat is common and I’m not sure I’ve eaten dog meat there. Because in the guesthouse I stay the owner provide foods to eat. Maybe dog I didn’t ask the owner, I’m Christian supposed to not eat dog for sure.
There are no food bans for christians whatsoever. "abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from meat of strangled animals" All those things do not apply to the animal itself but how its prepared, or what parts of it are consumed.
Romans 14 : 3 The man who eats everything must not look down on him who does not , n the man who does not eat everything must not condemn the man who does . By the way , dog meat is rich in protien ,n what amazes me is that it does not cause high blood pressure when consumed a little more than usual .From my experience .

Well, there are many mammals and other species that are extremely intelligent or have emotions as well… I mean even octopi. Dolphins. Whales. Pigs. Cows. So anyone who complains about this is a hypocrite if they eat those. Amongst many others species. Matter is matter. When it comes to survival, you’ll eat anything in the end.

I just came home from three and a half months in Asia and tried dog meat in Hanoi Vietnam. I honestly have to say that I have never eaten meat so good before. I was super tender and tasted like suckling pig. Somewhat fatty. I would definitely eat it again if I went to Vietnam.

Enjoy your meal Martin 😊 , indeed Vietnam citizens and the other people in the far East countries just have a different culture, no one should be blaming them about what they eat or how they live, I see that the men and woman around you in the restaurant look very helpful, hospitable and friendly, after all animals remain animals no matter how smart they could be sometimes.. God has created them for a certain purpose.. some for becoming food, some for transportation, others for giving us milk and honey, etc .. they are just a part of Nature not more, while the humans eveywhere regardless their race, culture or skin color are our brothers in humanity before anything.. I've eaten dog before and it's delicious if prepared in a way you like it. My favorite animals are snakes and I've eaten rattlesnake and other snakes more times than I can count, I love dogs but I don't put a blanket over all dogs. I'd make a brown bear my pet but I'd never assume all brown bears feel the same as the one I raised as a cub
Dogs are animals, the same as cows chickens and pigs. In the west people are grossly obsessed with dogs to the point they sleep with them in their beds, kiss them in the mouth, and spend hundreds of dollars on vet visits.

Even if i were to have a dog, don't get me wrong they can be nice animals, This is perfectly fine that people eat them. Just like any other animal is eaten its fine. Though i would probably not so much try it because i do not even eat game or anything outside of the standard meat types chicken beef and lamb Simply i do not like the taste of the others.

@@dane9598Don't think so. There's Ellwoods Organic Fog Meat but it's a parody website. Probably the closest thing would be cats preserved for disection, but those are in formaldehyde or a similar preservative, so can't be eaten.
