I don't understand why, let's say with Cable, I jump+shoot the handgun, then as soon as I land on the ground I do either a jump Beam or a jump Hyper Beam, and the opponent character stays in its blocking state even tho I shot the handgun a lot in advance, almost identical to your vid or other videos I saw....I know there is like a delay in between the time you hit the blocking opponent and the time it takes for the to change to but I just can't seem to find a way to make it work...the opponent character keeps blocking the hyper beam no matter what I do lol am I missing something??
I wouldn't be able to say for sure without seeing exactly what you're doing. Firstly I would make sure that the dummy is normal jumping and not super jumping. You can't guard break a super jump. Secondly I would jump+shoot and do nothing and pay attention to the dummy and see when they come out of block stuff. If you can confirm that visually, you'll be able to figure out when the right time is to follow up with an AHVB
If you could remove guard breaks from the game, would you? 😆
Hoping your great vids pop off when the collection drops! I've learned a lot from these.
ayo, i appreciate that luke! happy to hear that my videos have been helping :)
