Potemkin seems like he’s in a good place besides the Kara cancel nerf. I feel like it’s gonna be a bit fairer since you won’t get jumpscare bustered but he’s quite a bit stronger besides that
@@privateprismo yeah I understand I didn't like how Potemkin played for a while but I feel bad for the players who learnt all the Kara's to have to relearn the character but I'm really excited for the patch as a ky and Johnny main.
@@privateprismo it's not about strength. A core part of his combos and pressure game as well as skill expression is gone. I would take Karas over him being top tier any day
As a Elp main, we eating tomorrow. As a Brisket main, kinda sad about not being able to junp cancel but her beign able to move up or down might make up for it.
Ram mains are in absolute shambles right now. No kara cancels on rekka 2, can't pick up swords for 6 seconds minimum, nerfed swordless normal damage, Calvados can't be used to recover swords and cannot be used if she doesn't have both swords. It's rough. We won't know how she will play anymore.
She will play exactly how I have been playing her this whole time, her midrange game was always decent and was the intended way for her to be played, but most ppl tried to treat her like some kind of rushdown, corner pressure demon which she did have with the correct set-ups but is not Ram at her core based off the tools she has with her normals, and this patch leans in to compliment that playstyle. After these changes, spacing will be very important for her as you will now want to keep most fights at midrange using your swords reach to lockdown your opponent and force them to play your game, not theirs. This just changes her gameplan, it does not kill her as a character. Also at 23:00 he said that Calvados is gone 😂 no.... the combo he mentioned doing 2 sword throws into Calvados is gone, but now you are just going to confirm it with S-S-HS-Dauro-K-Calvados and if the patch notes are not lying it will now do even more damage then it did before.

Its only disastrous for her bad matchups. No dashblock will make some of her matchups near unwinnable
