    Hi, ryancy_photography. Thank you for sharing your recent flight experience with us. We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the absence of IFE monitors. We also apologize if you felt uncomfortable during the flight due to the insufficient legroom and weird noises. We have noted all your other concerns as well. On the other hand, we're glad to hear about the on-time arrival and appreciate your recognition of our competitive pricing.
    We greatly value your feedback, as it helps us identify areas for improvement and continue to provide you with the best possible travel experience. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you again in the future and provide you with an even better experience.

      Thank you for taking extra note on the areas I pointed out in this video 🙂. Overall I still felt happy flying with PAL for other ancillaries I got with a relatively cheap air fare. I hope the travel experience improves even better during the next flights with PAL. Wish you all the best, Mabuhay!

    13:18 - the plane actually parked at terminal 2, it's the shuttle bus that took you to terminal 1 of the Manila airport; since a few months ago the former only handles domestic flights and all Philippine Airlines international flights have been moved to the latter. Had a similar experience last month flying from Cebu on the same plane model as it parked to a terminal 1 gate (next flight was to Tokyo, what a coincidence!) and a bus rode us to the terminal 2 carousels.
    It will be a few give or take years before the airline will have its A321neos with the IFEs you desire...

      Thanks for pointing out that the plane parked at Terminal 2 😊
      Yeap agree with you, it will be more worth it taking this flight after PAL upgrades its A321 fleet from ceo to neo 🙂

    14:07, No, they don't provide tablet for the in flight entertainment in business class. Also, universal power outlet is missing.

      It also goes further on the widebodies only Mabuhay Class passengers get them on B777-300er A350s Mabuhay (Business Class) and Comfort Class (Premium Economy) Fiesta Class none. If you want all classes widebodies Universal plugs NRT-MNL take the Japanese JL/NH ICN-MNL/CEB South Koreans KE/OZ SIN-MNL/CEB SQ Singaporeans Taiwanese TPE-MNL TW3 CI/BR/JX. Easiest mainline fleet 1 to 1 comparison HKG-MNL CX Hong Kongers

    13:21, You mean terminal 2 is a hub for Philippine airline. But last June, all international flights for Philippine airlines have moved to terminal 1. Terminal 2 is domestic flights for all Philippine airlines.

    You actually arrived at Terminal 2 not terminal 1, Judging from the absence of AirAsia aircraft at NAIA 2 and the presence of PAL Aiircraft at the south wing, this video was taken before July 2023

    I just book a flight from Narita to Bangkok which has 1.15 hr transit time to PR736 at Manila and I wonder that can I make it on time after I see a queue at 14:43 😅😅

    • @ryan_cy
      @ryan_cy  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I only had 1 hour 20 mins transit time in Manila too, it is sufficient to make it 🙂

    were they strict with the checked bags? What was your weight? How was their customer service

    • @ryan_cy
      @ryan_cy  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As this flight departs from Japan, my check-in agent was a japanese, she was pretty strict on the baggage rules. The strictness varies from agents to agents, but rule of 2x 23kg check-in bags is quite generous.

      Yea, no IFE monitor for a full-service carrier on a mid-haul route... 🥲

    that plane they used is such a shame. definitely not at par with JAL nor ANA. i don't think they deserve 4 stars for this service.

    • @ryan_cy
      @ryan_cy  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Agree with you. Based on my actual experience, the standard of this flight was not on par with full-service carriers serving this route. Hope PAL could improve its standard instead of merely advertising it as 4-star airline.

    Tapos walang onboard screen. Over priced, malaki pa yung eroplano nang cebu pac at nang zip air narita to manila, hahahaha hindi na tulad dati ang pal, dati b777-300er at 747-400 ngayon a321 nalang anyare pal?

    worst airline i’ve ever flown and i’m speaking as a filipino living in europe. completely third world and unprofessional. i’ve had more professional flights on easyjet

      @@ryan_cy completely true although unless manila gets a new airport, nothing can change too drastically. also with a huge brain drain from the country it will never develop as well as its neighbours
