The Badami Caves look ok, but compared to Ajanta, Ellora, it’s not that impressive. It’s still massive, you wonder how the ancients managed to carve all these way up in the rock. We have a hard time just climbing up to see it 😂 it’s out of the way in a remote area, that’s why it’s not that popular. Anyway, Kailasa cave temple in Ellora is the best cave temple architecture in India. Ajanta also has a number of Buddhist and Jain cave temples.
