Glacial Lake in Sicily ? I agree for the separated rules theme. One cool thing with reading rulebooks, it is the increase of your hype to play. But here it breaks the immersion.
Thanks for looking at another standalone Warfigther gamebox. As always, I look forward to a playthrough :-) I really like Warfighter (ETO). There is so much "WW2 theme" about it. It's almost like a movie! I enjoy (almost) as much choosing the Mission and Objective and then assembling my group of soldiers as playing the game. Besides the Warfighter ETO, I also have the Africa edition - still unpacked! I have quite a few expansion packs for the ETO edition, so there are plenty of exciting missions waiting on that front. It is true that the universal rulebook can be a little difficult for new players. I watched some Playthrough on TH-cam - including your great videos - to learn the game. Except that: just a great game!
I share all your opinions here. ETO is also my favorite (so far). I'm looking forward to trying this one out and sharing it with you all! My favorite part is probably assembling the squad. It's really interesting. Cheers!
Been already enjoying the game myself. One small houserule tweak I would reccomend, the intersection objective gets the keyword ''onsite'' on it. Since otherwise you can just activate it, and if you get no immobile hositles, they will move towards you, and after 3 turns and you win withouth even moving or even firing once. (or do it as a Aprils fools joke hehe) For the rest, I am enjoying it alot. One thing I really like is the situation cards, some of them add some cool twists.
Seems like this game is hard to find right now. Everywhere I've looked it's out of stock. Looked very interesting to me, with all those supplements covering almost every conflict in history! Thanks for letting us see what we're missing! EDIT: if this set is typical, I think I need to get this game. Malto bene!
