The one girl, Dilukshi, is shown in another documentary at a later age. She has became very unhappy as she's grown up because her present family isn't as warm as the previous and she would rather be with her previous one. Past a certain age, about 13, it's not good to have the memories anymore. Some children have developed real complications in their lives as a result of continuing to remember.
Scientific Materialists, because they know that if this is true, they'll have to give up their world view. Rather than re-thinking what they have believed their entire life, they prefer to "debunk" anything that's outside their narrow point of view. Scientific evidence for something like Reincarnation (or NDEs) is a real threat for them.

You may want to read the conversation Jesus had with Nicodemus (John 3:1-21), which suggests that Jesus is referring to reincarnation. Indeed, it seems that early Christianity took reincarnation for granted. But then there was a power struggle between two factions, one believing in reincarnation and one not. The group that did not believe won, and from that moment reincarnation was a herecy in Christianity. Those believing in it were thrown out of the church, or killed in the name of a Loving Father. After that, theologians had to work hard to explain that Jesus, in his conversation with Nicodemus, was not talking about reincarnation, but something else. Their argument is blurred, to say the least, but those foolish enough to speak out in favour of reincarnation in the following centuries, were burned on the stake. And *that* argument was strong enough for most people to keep their mouth shut. It will certainly be interesting to see whether Christianity can re-integrate reincarnation into its believe system, or not.
@@ooorfeo LOL! It suggests no such thing! I have been an atheist for decades, but I was raised in the Christian religion, so I know it well. The biblical text you are talking about is Jesus explaining to Nicodemus that the only way into heaven will be believing that Jesus himself is the son of god and accepting him as savior. Jesus refers to that concept as being spiritually “born again.” It’s crystal clear, and it’s _YOU_ that’s twisting it to try to suit your narrative. From John chapter 3 that you brought up: _14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be exalted, 15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.” 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”_
I know that when we die the world will carry on evolving as with the expansion of the universe. The universe will then start to contract and all matter will merge as one. the big bang will occur again and the matter in the universe will find itself again to the point where you are re-born again from the same mother & father. Since time does not exist when you die, all the universal exp/contraction happens in the blink of an eye.Matter has consciousnesses & will re-form....We will experience again
