Since at least the mini-album D-X TRiDENT has been getting help arranging songs by some pretty prominent song writers. Especially ones renowned for their use of synths in rock/metal. Spoopy was arranged by Daidai of Paledusk and is 100% why it sounds like it does. For a couple songs they worked with Koji Hirachi, PassCode's song writer, and is why Signal and Repaint sound like they do.
Hello Princess NittPicc! It is great seeing you reacting to Trident. I agree with P in D about "Ambivalent" as a good live video, but I would also add that they recently released a live video for "Cry Out" that is really good too. Please take care and have an awesome week.
"Cry Out" official live is a must. This era of TRiDENT is now, they have only been around as TRiDENT since right at the start of the pandemic. They were a different band called "Girls Rock Band Kakumei", with Drummer Junna and were active from June 2013, but they really are a DIFFERENT band with Nagisa on drums, and the name change is totally appropriate. Their first album, Advanced Generation from 2021, has some cool songs, including "Ambivalent" and "Continue" but the three mini albums since are pretty much all great music. They put the best tracks (Except Spoopy, presumably for contractual reasons) on a full length album called DUX which they just released. Asaka the vocalist writes most of their music and is, IMO, one of the best vocalists in the genre at the moment - she's a bit Saiki and Miku in one tiny package. I think she could own the space if she wasn't rather busy doing all the other stuff! Live, they use a track and have been criticized for that, but they recently played some small venue gigs paired down to reinforce the point that they are all top tier talent. I think they kept it small for real fans because they want their big sound to be their sound, not be limited by being three and having to faithfully replicate that live, although I think Serina pretty much makes up for three instruments herself, and as I said, you get a two for one deal with Asaka's vocals! If it's not clear, this band has a special place in my heart - sometimes their music is a bit bland on the surface but is rich and deep as you listen a few more times, and sometimes it's just bang on from the get go - I think Haha is one of those tracks. Oh, and I got it, Spoopy is on Patreon. lol
This band definitely knows how to create a vibe and make you move. Serina will always pull you in with a bass line or a short solo and Nagisa is no longer suffering from JUNNA replacement syndrome as she pounds those drums relentlessly on every track. Asaka is also getting quite good at her vocal delivery. I think the song that was suggested over on the other platform was AMBIVALENT which is LIVE. No other reactor I know could pull off an Iron Man onesie ;) .
You asked for video/song suggestions, I would recommend "Imagination," "Cry Out," or "Neo Future." I believe that their earliest MV (after giving Junna the boot) is "Continue."
Princess NittPicc, if you need a pick-me-up song to make your day or week, I have a suggestion. There is a cover of "If I Could Be A Constellation" on the Epiphone channel. Asaka from Trident is the lead vocalist and a guitarist on the song. There are three other J-Rock musicians on the song. The song itself is a song from a popular anime in Japan. I honestly think you will enjoy the music and I'm sure the song will be an earworm for at least a few days.
I might be wrong, so don't quote me on this lol, but I think "hajime" is more like "start" than "fight". That why it is said at the start of a fight precisely. Fight would be more like "tatakae" i think.
Have you ever considered listening to Pan Flutes? Andean Fusion put some great albums out before they started covering more modern stuff. ... and get better!

Ambivalent is one of my favorites!!! Check it out!! The Bass player, Serina, rips in that song.

the bass/guitar solo on Alive is really cool
Really a great fun song, totally energizing.
Not sure what it is but there's something in the tone of Asaka's voice that just connects with me. I really like her singing.
And I love electronics
