I love to see all of the monster jam logos all over the place. It's cool to see all the Indy drivers doing what they do best and not have to worry about monster jam series points
I’m from Minnesota and aside from the 2 monster jam events in Minneapolis every year, there’s literally NOTHING in Minnesota as far as independent shows. I remember being very disappointed not being able to make this show, but was even more disappointed when I realized this was a one time deal. Like what happened, did the promoter just go in over his head and go bankrupt after this huge show? I mean everyone was talking about this and it had a huge turnout. Someone will have to correct me if there are more independent shows in MN as the only two I can recall within the past 7 or so years are some Midwest Monster Motorsports shows from like 2011-2016 but they haven’t really done anything since and then there’s the Elko Speedway night of destruction events but that’s just always 2 trucks doing an exhibition but that’s pretty much the only thing still ongoing. Anyway great coverage as always, maybe a little late 😂

It wasn't just a one time thing. They did the 2 shows in 2017 in Bemidji and Elk River. In 2018 they did a 2 day show at ERX. In 2019 the promoter said they just couldn't put one on because they're just a small family company. They tried to get ERX to take over but they had full schedule going on. Back in December they posted that there will be a 2 day show at ERX this year. It's supposed to be August 28th and 29th but with everything going on who knows if will still be able to happen. They haven't posted anything saying its not but when they do have to cancel I'm sure they will post it on their Facebook page Triple B Motorsports LLC

Those racing lanes are super unfair. One side has a smooth table top, the other side has a car. One truck has to hit the car twice while the other has to hit it once?
Well not really. Because they did wheelies first and that packed down the car a lot. And both trucks have to hit it anyway. The cars were so flat and beat up that it acted like a ramp/tabletop
One side had 2 jumps. Totally messed up.
It is weird to watch this and see Stormin' Norman in Bounty Hunter, as one year later he got behind the wheel of Bigfoot. Great event, and huge floor
Samson, bigfoot, snakebite and monster patrol all my favorite trucks from when I was a kid. Went to truck show in carolinas when I was 5 or 6 and they all were there. Great seeing them again all in one spot again.

I feel like Indy drivers overall need to work on their momentum more, i know this clip is old but they just need to get around the track faster. It makes the run feel slower than it really is.
I could only imagine what it cost to have all those top notch trucks there.

As someone who has a BIGGER passion for the independent drivers. I support and go to all of the independent shows out here in Portland, Oregon. I know monster jam comes as well. BUT TO BE HONEST, I think monster jam has lost it's touch in my opinion. They no longer have the cooler shows like they use to and the newer drivers are RUDE SHIT HEADS. Miss the Indy vers corporate trucks.

its pretty normal for the kahuna truck to spit flames like that, venom also does it.. you should check out shanes run from miami OK or vaters run from medina OH.. if you think thats bad then this is the wrong sport for you...

@@troylee3362 that was just flat out dangerous, I dont give a crap if it's normal or not. And those weren't normal backfire flames out of the exhaust those were huge and came from the vent tubes that vent out excess air from the engine(or something like that)
Why do the wheelie contest before racing? If I were a promoter, I would have the trucks race first.
That's what most promotors do besides Monster Jam
Wheelie contest was run before racing in order to help prep the cars for racing during the early concrete arena shows. This format proved successful and popular, and was then adopted by most of the industry.
