Nice cleanout! You make it look easy, but I know the hard work and time that goes into this hobby. Just picked up a 140S and I am itchin to get it in the field.
awesome! I rarely found enough to pay for my trip and all the equipment but you sure can't put a price on fun. You guys made payday on this trip! Thanks for sharing!
Great color gents!! I was wondering if it would be helpful to have a smaller vac running at the same time to pull up only the piles of gold in your 140 as you uncover them? I am glad to hear you like electric vac over gas for your vacuum. It has to be quieter too.
sorry don't mean to bother with dump quastions. But i found a dry creek, tested with pan found one very small barely visible flat piece of gold. Looked for the source, but wasn't able to find it. Other than cracks 3mm in the side walls that have limonite and red color change of the surrounding rocks. I know this place has super fine gold no big pieces, almost flour gold. You think if i classify the dirt little bit and run the engine slow i might be able to capture the gold in creek? There are lots of big rocks wouldn't that clog the vacuum?
The Keene 140 drywasher will capture very fine flour gold. Just do not use to much air. Remove the overburden down to bedrock, vacuum only the bedrock.
I Brake For Bedrock damn that thing was pain, specially carrying those buckets. I cleared around 20 buckets, leave it for tomorrow until they're dry. As you said just vacuum the bedrock, at first i was vacuuming the overburden, than realised it takes too much time, fuel and constantly have to open bucket to empty. Now i clean up as much i possibly can, than at the end vacuum. I'm not sure I'll get any gold here, but for first time experimenting will get an idea how this works. Good exercise with the benefit of gold.
Your getting it....Only run overburden if it carries good values. Sometimes its worth it but normally not. The bedrock will tell you if there is gold in the gully or not.
it would be nice to see the final amount collected ,maybe in a pan or vile . can you do that in your videos from now on , it just makes a better ending .
hi i have a question. I tried to go off road with my yaris to get close to mountains, but after few meters i uturned because of the rocky road felt like waa breaking my car. What type of cars would you suggest for riding around las vegas rocky roads? I assume you guys have enough experience to give an advise. Or maybe i need something small off road vehicles desighned for mountain driving?
Another excellent video I see you use the 140 I'm sure there's a good reason why you don't use the bigger 151 is it because it's easier to hike in and out or just works better then the 151 ? Thank you for taking the time to post these videos when I'm out Not finding gold prospecting I couldn't imagine trying to record on top of it
***** 18x$40=720/2/2=$180 per day per man. I guess that's about as good as it gets. That's about what a skilled placer miner made in 1849, adjusted for inflation.
Nope , not at all. I have re-run tailings many times and when running properly im not losing more than 1-2 % If you are getting 70 to 75% recovery then you are actually the one doing something wrong.
always like watching you vids in the Bradshaws, would like to shoot a few videos up the way here soon. Keep up the great work fellas.
Jeff and Slim
Ask Jeff Williams come on get out here to the Bradshaws! Show me wher the gold is Jeff I'm out every weekend I've only found a few specks
Another excellent prospecting trip with the 141. You even allowed Boulderdash to work the camera!
Ha ha .... thanks so much !

What a fun place, a small XP Deus would be fun to use there.
This is really cool thks guys gives me good ideas for working in Australia
Very nice. Have you ever used a Keene 140 Puffer? And if so how does it compare to the one you are using here?
mobiltec The puffer wouldnt run enough material for me. Im not sure on the recovery either.....I would stick with the 140 Vibrostatic
***** Wish I had known about the Vibrostatic before I spent $800 on the puffer.
Love the videos, thanks for sharing!
Wish you would add your final cleanups videos

I Brake For Bedrock I'll try in Arizona, if i don't get anything from here from southern Nevada. But all the areas are pretty much claimed
133 Buckets , Nice Pickers
Wow nice amount of color there !
Dam... was really looking forward to seeing the gold. hint hint for your next video.

+highenergyog Everybody wants the $ shot.

+Vahagn melikyan Toyota pick up truck , or a quad
How are all those big rocks getting past your classifier?
Good question . I'll have to watch the video ... could be they have fallen off the back of the hopper and into the tray

We use a 151 almost as often as a 140, they are both great drywashers.
What brand and type of generator is it
Can you or do this full time, or do you just do it for fun. Do you find enough to make a living?
Matt Rowe Pay streaks come and go, so I just do it for fun. Some people can do it for a living, but it has its risks
Thanks for replying.Found my first Gold North of Anthem and west.
I don't get why you seemed to isolate the gold and then vacuum it up with all the rock I thought you were sorting it from!
+Jeffrey Morrissey Thats as far as the gold can be classified in the drywasher. The material gets taken from there to the final cleanup, off site.
How many CFM air blower you need to operate small drywasher
+Vahagn melikyan Im not sure , but it doesent take much air volume to run a Keene 140 .
Muito bom!! I love it
Thank you so much !
Your video is very interesting👍👍, and I want to be friends with you, I'm from "Borneo Metal Detector" Indonesia 🇲🇨, Greetings ... 🙏👌👋
Ok, thank you
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK 👌👋🙏

why suck the riffles, I pore mine in a bucket. just asking .
To get a good idea of how much gold we`re expecting at cleanup.
never seen anyone vaccum out the sluice. just dump it in a bucket.
You're kidding yourself if you think that is catching in the 90s that's ridiculous . I would say more like 70 to 75% at best.
