Will it be harder for me to be accepted if someone else from my country also applied for the same university and major as me? PS. I have a GPA of 3.94, but I had never won any awards throughout my high school. I'm not sure of her scores since she graduated from a Chinese school, but she had won a few awards throughout her high school. Will I be at a disadvantage?
I want to apply to Tianjin university for 2023, bachelors in pharmaceutical sciences or environmental science (in English), I'm a decently good student with As in biology and chemistry in a levels and I'm aiming for a 1400 sat score. I'm gonna apply as soon as the year starts, I really want to get in, and get the university scholarship could you tell me what would be my chances? Tianjin university is my first choice rn
Peeking is the top university in china and held position in top 30 globally ranking universities. U should try another university if u want your admission there

English Proficiency Certificate (IELTS is not Mandatory)
