I discovered Mori 5 years ago....her name kept popping up in my TH-cam....at first I was thinking Alanis Morissette....then seeing the thumbnail realized it's not Alanis....so my first song to hear from Mori is " Secret love song" instantly fell in love with her voice,beauty and emotion ...from that day....a day does not go by without listening to Mori....I think.i have about 250 songs now on my Mori playlist ....Great reaction and I loved your interview with Mori !!! MORE MORI !!!
The first video that made me so into Morissette is her live Wish Bus performance of the song "Naririnig mo ba Ako (Can you hear me)". Her vocal agility and ability made me find of her. She's not just a singer but also a storyteller.

Morissette will be in Dallas in Jan. 15, 2021. And Houston on 14, 2021. The first is sure. My first was secret Love Song which I was blown away with tears in my eyes. I was totally touched. Since then I was hooked.

I saw one of his duets, done on wish 107.5 FM Radio with Arnel Pineda, the frontman of the legendary US band "Journey", and I was intrigued by his vocal timbre and overall quality of singing.
I kept checking and today I can say with scrupulous certainty that it is the brightest star of all in the world.

She is my favourite by a very long way.
To answer your question, my first time hearing Morissette was her rendition of "Rise Up" on the Wish Bus. It just completely blew me away. I had to listen to a few times back to back to back to make sure that I was really hearing what she was doing vocally and emotionally with that song. I was mesmerised by her and still am today.
She is simply stunning.

Never Enough, Rise Up, and Akin ka na lang on wish. Then, Fly Like A Bird and Rise Up with 3rd Avenue (Acapella) on her channel, which really impressed me with her tone quality after she had rested her voice for several months. Then, I can’t remember. Whatever I could find. In the late 60’s when the great Kentucky basketball coach, Adolph Rupp, was asked by reporters why he was he was recruiting a 7 footer who had not developed his skills to the level of the usual UK prospect he said, “I can’t coach tall.” Morrisette has a voice, a tone, that always evokes a deep feeling in me, even when she just talks. Everyday I watch one of her interviews just to hear her talk. I have been listening to great singers since the late 50’s. For example, I think the most skilled female singer in the world right now is Soyhang. She is also 43 to Mori’s 25. She has about the same unbelievable 5 octave range plus like Mori and her songs are incredible, but her tone, which is great, doesn’t evoke the same level of emotion. I’m also impressed with Dimash. Same incredible skill and range, if not more. I do not react emotionally to his voice. Frank Sinatra was great. Didn’t move me ever. Johnny Cash slayed me anytime I listened to him sing. You can’t teach tone or personality that reaches in and gets to your soul.

2017 Asian song fest.,scrolling through youtube,TH-cam, clicked on a 30 sec.clip was all they had of her whistle, I didn't believe it was real,absolutely thought it was b.s,didn't think anyone could do that and I grew up on mariah,Mariah, I saw rise up on wish,and I've seen every video possible since,even some from her dad's channel when she was a little girl practicing....she's now the best in the world!!!

Yeah, we need another watch party for the Signature Live Series. That one is with a live band and not necessarily the same studio arrangement so it’s a whole different experience. And ‘Will You Stay’ gives the guitar solo here the limelight it deserves.

I first stumbled upon Mori about a year ago when I started watching reactors and That Singer Reacts did Fly Like a Bird. I was so impressed I continued burning through hundreds of reactions to this day - she has so many videos! If I could ask her anything, I'd want to know how she feels about where she is in her music career. (I think she deserves to be a global super-star and am still waiting for the world to wake up to this rare gem of a talent).
She did several versions of her EP songs but my favorites are these and Wish Bus. Sound quality (vocal and instrumental) is better and clearer than "Live Performance" versions.

My first Morissette sighting was Secret Love Song on the WishBus about 4 years ago. Not a day goes by without listening to her ever since. I’ve been playing her EP nonstop everyday since it dropped. I’m a Mori addict. Lol
Think that WISH award is...the WISH , Hall of Fame one received in 2020...in 2019 she won I believe 11 WISH awards. This was done in her own Condo...the direct shot....is looking from kitchen/front entrance area towards her living room and the front windows with her 100's of " Plantita " Side shot is from her bedroom entrance. Dave most likely the one doing video and the sound ( She has great mic...and a small sound board for reverb effects)
