I really get emotional everytime she talks about how she lost her voice back in 2018. I remember a lot of her haters celebrating her loss of voice back then and they were even saying that her voice is gone for good. I also remember defending Mori to death like I was getting paid for it lol 😂 But Im really glad Morissette proved them wrong and she came back stronger than ever, which only proves that she's a real Phoenix and she does rise from her ashes 💕

I always appreciate low notes. Before Mori became popular I was so addicted to charice's low notes...Mirror is my no.1 favorite from her EP signature. Mori is amazing and I love her for life! I love Morissette low notes as much, may be more, than her high notes. And I like, that she decided not to put whistles as her signature. I love her whistles as simply the best in the world, but it’s an add but not the soul of her voice. I mean, the contrast is unbelievable, so a low note makes the high notes and whistles shine brighter and vice versa. But the soul of Morissettes Voice is her personality, that humble and honest person with her struggles and downs, and the ability to rise out of that to unbelievable highs. Like you, I became an instant fan and devotee. The thing that I always came away with from every interview I watched, besides the obvious aspects of music, was her humanity. Fabulous interview. As you have said; in performances she gives the impression of being a genuinely nice person who truly enjoys performing. (Vocal stresses and health notwithstanding) Your interview demonstrates that she really is a lovely, warm, charming person. Your ability to set her at ease and coax out the Jessie J story demonstrate that you too are a charming, sincere lover of music. You have mentioned her tone and control several times in past videos. I adore her interpretation of Akin Ka Na Lang. I recently encountered her early acoustic version of this when she was with Starmusic. Just guitar accompaniment, no FX. Not even reverb - which is, of course, present on the Wish Bus version. I had a recording studio in the late 70's. It was my joy; occasionally doing backing vocals. Due to throat cancer I now only have 50% of my vocal chords so can no longer sing along. But, with people like you, your enthusiasm and true Artists like Mori and Daryl - you make my heart sing. Great interview! I replayed it four times consecutively. I've been following Mori since TH-cam recommended her to me six months ago. Salamat TH-cam. Like you, I became an instant fan and devotee. The thing that I always came away with from every interview I watched, besides the obvious aspects of music, was her humanity. Kind, generous, appreciative, grateful, modest, compassionate, humble, gracious, polite, respectful, honest, thoughtful . . . she's not hard to read. All those traits and characteristics that I just mentioned all manifest themselves in her singing and that's why Mori has such a positive effect on people. I found it impossible not to fall in love with her, from one Musician to another, from one human being to another.

Fabulous interview. As you have said; in performances she gives the impression of being a genuinely nice person who truly enjoys performing. (Vocal stresses and health notwithstanding)
Your interview demonstrates that she really is a lovely, warm, charming person. Your ability to set her at ease and coax out the Jessie J story demonstrate that you too are a charming, sincere lover of music.
You have mentioned her tone and control several times in past videos. I adore her interpretation of Akin Ka Na Lang. I recently encountered her early acoustic version of this when she was with Starmusic. Just guitar accompaniment, no FX. Not even reverb - which is, of course, present on the Wish Bus version.
I had a recording studio in the late 70's. It was my joy; occasionally doing backing vocals. Due to throat cancer I now only have 50% of my vocal chords so can no longer sing along. But, with people like you, your enthusiasm and true Artists like Mori and Daryl - you make my heart sing. Thank you,
