    Afternoon sir
Great videos. Was watching the height of the corn as you were driving. For me, that means the season is coming to an end. In fact it has now but fortunately Alfred and I have a few videos still to show as it was an exceptional season for us. Will have to look and see if Pennsylvania has a closed period. The big browns are beauties, to be caught again. Hope health is where it should be! Thanks for the ‘scenery’, sincerely, brown trout guy

    Dusty
    Still enjoying your videos.
After 20 years of spin fishing in WV, I had Taken up fly fishing for five years. After watching your trips on the small streams in PA I have reinvested in a new Ultra light rod and real and am going to try and to get my health back to explore smaller steams in WV that are not stocked by the WVDNR. I hope that will reduce the amount of people fishing on these streams.
There are beautiful larger steams here but the stock truck chasers really ruin the enjoyment of being on the water.
I have notice in your winter videos the cold water freeze your hands.
I use neoprene gloves with finger holes, they not only keep your hands warm they also make it easy to hold the wish. Hope that helps if have not tried them before.
Best wishes keep fishing and I will keep on watching

😊 pinch barbs, even cut off one hook, use a good release net, use a thermometer and don’t trout fish when temps are too high. Breeders are everything! Great vid

Contrary to popular belief brown trout can spawn at 14in. Feverybody thinks they gotta be like 17 + to spawn lol

Absolutely my sentiments as well….. so much nicer catching them when the water is ice cold & they revive so much faster, and when you catch it right, the bite can be amazing! 👌🤙🎣

Hey Dusty, What sunglasses do you like for low light situations, or do you use the same pair of glasses regardless of light.
I know in the beginning you were talking trout handling, I don't know if you've ever done a video specifically on how to handle trout, best practices for catch & release, netting (and catching without a net. But that might be a really good video. With all your content, I'm sure you got plenty of clips. Especially for a lot of the beginners and novice anglers out there who aren't familiar and just getting into trout fishing. And also maybe a video on your favorite fishing tools & gear.

Appreciate the tip on the content suggestion too, I can definitely piece together a “how to handle em” video!!!!!🤙😁

      Check it out! 😊

We’ve been lucky to catch some nice browns this season. 1st time with a go pro and my partner edits the segments. Great fun. Again, a wonderful channel. I’ve been able to get 51 videos including shorts in the past 2 years. Love the gp picture. Understand you’ve been under the weather. Hope that’s behind you. Cheers and thanks for sharing your site. Good stuff Dusty. It has been very hot this summer in western, PA but has started to cool. What month do you typically head back out for the wild browns?

    • @chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620

I know you like the Gold mepps so do I but I have fallen in love with the copper blade I think you should give it a try they seem to hit the copper more aggressively from what i have found!

    • @chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620
      @chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

I actually did give those a try once or twice. Also some other colors and styles and never really had great luck with them but I will be honest, I never really put much time in with them either. It always just seemed like the gold was so effortless to catch them on. I just never really switched to anything else.
I have caught a couple big ones on the gold blade with the skirt though! 🤙🤷‍♂️
