For 21 years I never made my bed unless it was to put fresh sheets on. I now just do it anyways for my mental health. Its not that making the bed makes me happier by itself, but the pride I feel knowing I am taking care of not only myself, but my space. Even if I am incredibly depressed right now its the little things.
I actually think this isn’t the proper bed technique, but each I’m sure is different, there is a part I learned where you take the corner of the sheet and kinda fold it into a triangle, then tuck under. Something along those lines. You don’t just shove the sheets and extra blankets underneath.
That’s what I’m saying. I’m like nope on those corners. I’d make my husband do it again or I’d just rip it up and do it myself. The sides of his bed I promise look like garbage and that’s why it wasn’t shown and then they just throw the comforter over it to hide it. It’s a way to do the bed for sure, but not the proper way.
In europe that's not how you make bed. We don't have matress laying around on top of another, it is deep enough to go all the way down the frame of the bed. We also don't have two sheets on the matress, only one and we put blanket at the end on top of everything else. And out bed linen is much thicker.
I know it may seem silly to see a video about making a bed. But there are lots of kids or younger people out there who don't have figures in their life to show them everyday life tasks like "making a bed" Kudos to you two
