Seems to be universal, the complaints of aches and pains 😂 and the hardships of owning livestock.

I never had a chance to meet my grandparents in this lifetime. Listening to her is heartfelt. Very strong. Love her stories. At 58yo, I don't speak Navajo, but I understand fully. Hence, TH-cam. Thank you for sharing your lives.

Thank you Tyrell! Seeing your Grandmother's hands and hearing her laughter was so special. And I agree, translating would have taken something away from the recording. This was wonderful (and I'm glad you'll have the recording for yourself, too) ❤ And, what a beautiful job she does carding the wool!

As your grandma speaks of how she learned how to weave and brushing out the yarn, it brought back memories of my childhood with my own grandmother. You are blessed to still have her and listen to her words of wisdom. 😊

My mom was telling me that her joints were hurting for the first time. I was like, “Damn.” 😢But at least you can sit and talk about wool and everything. It’s reassuring that if she were younger, she’d help you out. I always imagine our elders being young. 😊

Carding wool is hard work because it’s repetitive motion for many hours, just like spinning can take many hours, but Omg it is so fun.

Given a change , its once in a life time. I dont know this woman as her loved ones do.
can find understanding .and grateful, unsure the generation
She saw in her walk on the earth. seeing she was their
chance of life. For those who called her mother ,was pleassing from our creator
    Blessing, to so many
    Her spirit true gift
Story of Earth Spirit Water Blood is the same as my own great grandmother, her birth 1888, her body of Mother Earth , that holds the spirit Given from on high one day return knowing she got to see her own children grow and much more
Her body formed in to flesh in the water of her mothers,
Blood there far more knowledge. For now Blood of ancestors still lives known as DNA to others.
    From the video she loved
Looking around her she grateful th e way shle cares
for what she Given and work hard for.
If I may say with kindness
    May not understand as others
She in once in a life time
touching others lives who may see the love also.
