Honestly the optimist in me says we should make our own TH-cam that’s similar to the old days, but realistically TH-cam has a virtual monopoly. They aren’t the only video streaming website, but even with how bad things are getting here, people stick with it. They never moved to Minds, they never moved to BitChute, and only the cryptobros moved to Odysee.

This (YT's responses) is what's called obfuscation and deflection.
Basically, it's attrition tactics. Putting up barriers that require more resources to defeat than was needed to create. Which in this case is absurdly lopsided. One person's life savings vs the mass-produced evasive tactics of a corporate empire.
This is completely unacceptable business practice. No accountability, no mediation, just a heavy hand from an invulnerable position of authority telling you to go eat dirt.

this sounds like what happened to a friend of mine, he did fanfiction, got his channel demonitized over "repetitive content" because whenever he did a series they'd share a thumbnail.
he tried everything, contacting moderation, changing every thumbnail (he does the art by hand digitally if that makes sense, a lot of work) and they still said no, he tried for months....still nothing
That is insane. That excuse makes absolutely no sense.
Imagine if law worked by you not being able to get a day in court because you're being charged with a crime, even if you might be innocent. That would be unbelievably insane and obliterate the entire justice system. Why is TH-cam allowed to do this? It's playing with people's livelihood, you can't just do that and get away with it. I wish there was a way we could get False to talk about this. It’s suspicious that he hasn’t despite following the Shylily Clips story and Taiga’s stalker has confirmed to be going after that channel. I have also heard rumors that messages on his Discord asking for False to report on this have been deleted, making it seem malicious.

Part of the problem is that you were labeled a child predator. Once that label is attached to someone, even if it's debunked it never really comes off. There's a great movie about this called The Hunt with Mads Mikkelson as the lead.

Man, I'll be honest, I consume Taiga content every now and then from clips, so I wouldn't say I'm a fan or something, but I would like to give them a hug right now. It angers me that this situation has been brought upon them. The world is unfair as it is and then there are some actors that make it worse for others and don't even go unpunished. There is hope things get better.
In a weird way it's kinda good to hear this sort of problem is affecting other people. Hopefully that will help towards more people talking about this and leading to it getting fixed eventually. Hire a lawyer, and have them handle the communications. Including demands to have things handled by a real person instead of their useless 'algorithm' automation that is ENTIRELY incompentent for actually doing what they try to use it to do. YT tends to finally get moving once you very clearly have legal rep involved and the potential for lawsuits involved.

Unfortunately, if a lawsuit was ever started, I fear that it would be similar to what Sayu discussed when it comes to Nijisanji. You can clearly in the right and have the evidence, but the big company will stall it out and use all resources available to drag it out and make you give up. Even as TH-cam runs on a loss, the companies in charge will have infinitely more money and legal counsel than anyone here.

Even if they did get their channel back, all it would take is some other scumbag doing the mass false reporting all over again to put them right back at this point.
