I am from Kerala and working in Southern Railway kollam section.....🥰🥰🥰
This route is only 12 KMS from my home. Earlier it was fun but they changed to broadguage which is sad. Nobody is interested in preserving heritage which adds to tourism value.
This is not a commercial viable route. So they should preserve the heritage value. Satya Bro- You have prepared well before doing this video. Thumbs up to you

Bhaiya ho sake to Palakkad ke "Walayar" se Podannur/coimbatore route try kijiye.. Western Ghats ki Asli maza aa jayegi.. it's like the Konkan railway route of kerala😍
Yes I travelled that route many times during my fellowship time in coimbatore. I am from Ahmedabad Gujarat. And have to come to Shoranur to catch train to Ahmedabad as daily train is there from various cities of kerala. Very scenic route indeed. Was nice time in coimbatore.

I remarked i' your videos there are no vendeurs selling food or chai, I also saw the train are not overpacked, can you comment❓ please ask I haven't been to India since some years. Satya, you mentioned Island Express going to Kanyakumari. Is Kanyakumari or Benguluru an island. The history of this train is it use to travel upto Cochin Harbour Terminus. While Kochi use to be an island, hence the name. Presently it is non functional.
It is interesting to know how banker locomotive works, since there is no communication between front and banker engines. Both are independently working.
The Plantation shown by you is of rubber. One sees a pot, now covered with polythene bag.
Sengottai is pronounced as Sungotte. Similar to Jollarpettai is called Jollarpatte. The problem of English translation of most native languages. In Pune Shaniwarpeth, Bhavanipeth ..... means a kasba.
From Madurai one can go to Kodaikanal a hill station. Kodai can also be reached from Coimbatore Jun.
